Acer Aspire 6920 notebook is one of top performance notebooks released. It has 16" wide screen which supports Full HD1080p. If you use the default size font and the default size icons, you feel that the userinterface is squeezed into the screen too much. All icons and menus are a little bit small. I feel it is not a laptop computer but a desktop alternative when I saw it. I used to use a HP office notebook computer(NX6120) which had 15" screen(1400X1050). I satisfied the size of that computer. But, Acer 6920 is larger than I expect. It is heavy and big to carry on a backpac. Anyway, I don't care the size of the laptop since I am going to use at my office for work. When you see movies by using this laptop, I bet you turly like this notebook. It's fantastic. It has many convenient features, such as, Cinedash Media console(it's very convenient), Blu-ray player, GeForce 9500M GS chip, Vista Ultimate operating system, seperated Remote Controller, in-built Bass-booster, Full-HD Display, and HDMI output. It has only one thing which I don't like. It's the keyboard. Key stroke is a little bit hard. You should press keys hard, otherwise you can miss many charaters while typing. I miss one more thing. It doesn't support a FireWire port and an eSATA port. However, I am satisfying Acer 620 so much. It is the best notebook I've ever had. I recommend this to you.

everything is excelent, the only thing I noticed is that the online manual says something about a printed one, and it didn't come in my box. besides that, everything is great, excelent price and the buy.com service is very nice and fast.

Fantastic computer at a great price! I have been looking for notebook computers for several months at local stores and the usual on-line sources. I haven't seen anything to touch the features and performance of this laptop anywhere close the price. The screen is beautiful! The pictures are clear, bright, and with good contrast. Blu-ray movies and games look great. I haven't detected any blurring on either. The sound is very good for a notebook. The "Arcade" control pad takes a little getting used to but is OK. The touchpad and fingerprint reader work as expected. The built-in web cam is adequate but not what you would get in a high-end dedicated model. It seemed to do reasonably well in moderate lighting (at least as far as I could tell on the screen). The Vista performance scores were in the low 5's for all aspects except for Aero performance which was at 4.4 (not sure why it was so low...). Since this is Vista 32-bit, you will only see around 3GB of the 4GB memory. This is a 32-bit limitation. The included utility software is OK (web cam, security, backup, recovery). Lots of trial games loaded that you'll probably want to ditch as well as the trial video editing software. Bonus - It comes with a remote (Windows Media Center) that controls the Blu-ray and media center in general (I haven't tried that as I don't have a tuner). All-in-all, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely buy again.
