Got this Acer to replace a bulky old fashioned 15" monitor. Ordered on Monday, got it on Friday. Out of the box my PC (with XP) recognized it immediately, so there was no need to install the drivers which are provided. Thankfully I am an experienced PC user, and can trouble shoot my own issues - the booklets that come with the monitor are about 25 pages - unfortunately only page 1 & 2 are in English, the rest are the same info in 20 different languages - I had to fiddle with the resolution for about 20 mins. to get the "picture" to not look stretched. I finally set it to 1440 x 900 - this seemed to be the correct ratio. Hope that helps anyone reading this. Other than that, I am delighted I made the choice ! - There is so much screen, I don't know what to do with myself - I am a designer, and work with video clips - and the added length is a godsend. Will go with Acer again - the unit works great - no dead spots, and light as a feather. I read most of the reviews before buying this unit, and some folks claimed to have heard a loud buzz with their monitor - I did not experience that, thankfully. 5 out of 5 for me.

This is my second acer product my first is a laptop, which is why i partially bought this. Installation was as simple as opening the box unwrapping it plugging in a few cords a poof it worked, it automatically configured itself and it was done, will recommend this product to potential buyers and my friends, the product did not have any damage or dead pixels everything works as it should.

I'm very satisfied with my Acer wide screen monitor from Buy.com. It arrived in 3 days with standard shipping, was easy to set up, and has a very clear picture. The only thing that would make it better would have been to have gotten a larger screen size.
