I purchased two of these for my main computer. They are very bright and offer great viewing for all types of applications. No Ghosting! I would recommend these to anyone. I actually just order another one for my fiance. She likes it also.

I bought another more expensive Acer flatpanel for my computer earlier this year. Then about 2 months ago I saw this model on sale and bought two of them. One for each of my parents. These were christmas gifts. I received my order 4 days from placing the order. This was using the free shipping option. I've been very pleased with everything I've bought from Buy.com. Both monitors are in excellent condition. No dead pixels on either of these. If you're in need of a replacement for a smaller monitor or need more space on your desk this is a great buy. I and my parents are very pleased with them. My dad has played Flight Simulator 2005 on his with no issues.

I'm very pleased with the size, quality and performance. Purchased as gift for college-age son. He is pleased with on-line gaming performance. Very bright screen. 3 year warrenty is a plus.

I bought this LCD 2 days ago, and it got shipped very quickly. The first thing i noticed was the weight. Very, very light for a 19" LCD, the others I have handled weighed a lot more than this. The color and contrast is fantastic, very good looking and easy on the eyes. Very bright and displays vivid colors. Great for the price. The only issue I have is that the black colors aren't as dark as I would like them to be, this is most noticeable when watching a widescreen movie on it and seeing the black letterbox bars at the top and bottom. Fantastic price, shipping and quality, and no dead pixels at all. Great product!!

I have not yet seen a funky spot on ours. Big improvement over 17" glass. I use a high end Planar at work and I don't see much difference.

I just received the monitor. I brought it to replace my 17" Gem crt monitor. What a difference a flat panel display at 19" makes. I am so happy with the product and the quick service that Buy.com provided. Even their customer service personnel was helpful when I was placing the order. And I have no dead pixels. The screen is clear and bright the colors are perfect.

You can't beat this monitor for the price. If you are in to gaming then you will love this monitor. I bought two of them to replace my big bulky CRT's, and I guarantee you that you will have a hard time finding a montior at this price, size and comes with a 3 year warranty.

I bought this LCD for $239.99 (before tax). Even though it's a name brand 19" lcd, I thought the quality would HAVE to suck a bit for this price (no rebates to hassle with!). I was blow away! This is a bright monitor and suitable for gaming. The only game I play is Counterstrike... but refresh rates are fast and no ghosting. Just as good as my $200 NEC 19" CRT! No dead pixels and got to my house in 3 days! I am going to buy another.

Up until now the largest screen I've used was a 17" CRT. Got this Acer 19" LCD at a great discount over Thanksgiving weekend. Boy have I been missing out. This monitor is bright, beautiful, and slightly thinner than my mom's 17" Dell LCD (purchased 2-3 yrs ago). The Acer also blows away my 1.5-year-old 14" laptop LCD (Dell 600m), although the disparity is probably mostly a function of the laptop's age and lower power. Compared to this Acer, my latptop's screen is practically yellow! For now, I am using the Acer as a secondary monitor for my 600m and it has filled that role perfectly. No dead/miscolored pixels!

You have to use the recommended resolution otherwise it is blurry. This means I can't sit back in my chair unless I am wearing my glasses, but hey, it's worth it.

I have only one complaint about this monitor: the one I was sent is grey and blue. Although this obviously has nothing to do with it's performance, it was enough to knock it a point down under the "overall satisfaction" category. This unit still is still a great value though, no dead pixels here! Overall 5 out of 5.

I ordered 2 of these last week and they came today. For the price and size, this monitor is hard to beat, and the fact that they came so fast was nice. It was a little disappointing when I first turned on the screen and noticed a dead blue pixel about 2 inches from the top. This seems to be a VERY COMMON problem with these Acer monitor, as another user here has also written about the problem. I checked my other monitor and it has a dead pixel in the same area too, so who knows how many monitors are like that. The pixel is not completely dead.. it just has a problem changing to black or dark grey. If it's any other color, it's fine. This may only be a problem if you're, say, watching widescreen movies. other times, it's not even there (of the whole screen is white, for example), or noticeable. All in all, a good deal. Only a minor imperfection, which is easily ignored.

just received my new acer monitor,and boy compared to my 15" its like sitting at the movies. so far so good i'm very happy with the service from buy.com ordered my new digital camera, recieved in two days. received my monitor in two days also.

3 year warranty, huge display, one dead pixel. Not too shabby. I bought this display for my 4 1/2 year old son and for that this monitor rocks! Now that I am sitting in front of it, I wish I had one of these for work.....
