The Accell UltraAV High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) 1-2 Splitter transmits digital audio and video signals from an HDMI device, such as a DVD player, PS3 game console or receiver, to 2 displays at once. It?s ideal for use with HD-TV?s, projectors and monitors. The UltraAV splitter carries both multi-channel audio and high-definition (HD) digital video in resolutions of up to 1080p. Fully compatible with HDCP devices and compliant to the HDMI 1.2a specification, this HDMI splitter also works with personal computers and DVI enabled devices when using an optional DVI adapter.

5 of 5 Gets the job done Saturday, March 22, 2008

This 1x2 HDMI splitter works as adverstised. Has a very small footprint. It takes longer than I expected to perform the "handshake" for connection, and initially I thought the unit was defective. I am only using the video so I can not comment on how well the audio performs. No visual signal loss with one 50" Panasonic plasma over a 25 ft cable run, and one 53" Panasonic rear projection HDTV 4 ft away. Overall happy with purchase...but seems a bit pricey.

After trying 2 other splitters that didn't do the job I purchased this one and it worked flawlessly. It split the output from a satellite receiver to 2 displays.
