Set in the turbulent 1960s, A War Apart tells the tale of two lovers who are forever changed by the Vietnam War, which tore them apart. While traveling to London, Eric Williams meets Sarah Wellington, and the two fall instantly in love. After a brief courtship, Eric asks Sarah return to Annapolis, Maryland, to begin a new life. When the two get to America, Eric is notified that he has been drafted into the Army. Similar to thousands of citizens like him, Eric is forced to leave the love of his life to fight in the jungles of Vietnam. Now Eric must survive the nightmares of battle in order to return from the war that tore them apart. Like the country, the two lovers would never be the same.
