"Oh, misery! There must be a better life than this. I'm going to find it..." (from the first line)

In this reissue of one of his earlier works, an award-winning author/artist explores the life of Czechoslovakian folk hero Jan Welzl, recreating Welzl's 30-year Arctic odyssey by mixing facts with legend. Full-color illustrations.
