Students of the Bible have long wished for an Old Testament companion to the Reader's Greek New Testament. The Reader's Hebrew Bible is a great tool for people with about 1 year or more of Hebrew training. It gives definitions (at the bottom of the pages) for all words that occur less than 100 times in the Hebrew Bible, which allows a reader to move relatively quickly through passages and appreciate the flow of thought and the beauty of the Hebrew language. The text is the same as is used for BHS, the only drawback being that it does not have Masoretic notes or editor's comments. This is a great resource for anyone who wants to improve his or her Hebrew and to read more of the Hebrew Bible.
