I had been looking for a gender neutral book for my 18 month old girl who shows interest in potty training and for her twin cousins (a girl and a boy) of similar age. This book is great! It is easy enough to understand for younger toddlers and the right length. (as opposed to some books that are long and very wordy -impossible to sustain a toddler's attention). The illustrations are cute and gender neutral, and do not demonstrate/model maladaptive behaviors for my daughter to copycat like some other books (i.e. putting the potty bowl on the head). It is written from the point of view of the kid, and ends with "I am so proud of me!" My daughter is already trying to say that when she sits on her potty. Love this book.
