4 of 5 About the same as Wireless G Tuesday, February 24, 2009 Torin from Boston, MA
These work as advertised but you never know what the wiring in your house is like so don't expect to get 100mb throughput. I decided to use these because my wireless G signal was weak in one part of my house. These seem to be about the same performance as a weak wireless G signal. I will definitely move to wireless N once the standard is finalized. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Working great now Sunday, December 28, 2008 Jack from Olympia, WA
I have 3 of these in a home network and they're working flawlessly now. One was malfunctioning and had to be reset nearly every day. After a few calls to Xyxel technical support, they agreed to replace one of the units. Faster than wireless and much easier than hard-wiring. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 works great Monday, August 04, 2008 robhabash from Wichita, Ks.
I am using this with my zyxel media player and it works great. No problems.Easy to set up and easy to understand. I was skeptical that this would work like it says, but suprisingly it does.Wish it were a little cheaper though. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 easy setup, works great Wednesday, December 05, 2007 A Customer from Westchester County, NY
Bought 2 of these separately because I couldn't find the starter kit. Plugged one into the router and the wall, then went to a different room and plugged the other into the wall and then my laptop. Immediately found the network, and connection speeds are much higher than wireless (a/g anyway).
Wireless connections sometimes drop for a second which will kill your Skype call, etc, so we needed to have something like this. Wiring in my house is ~70 yrs old, still works without a problem. I highly recommend this product, and may buy more myself. Was this review helpful?
