    5 of 5 Great System Sunday, September 07, 2008
    Michael from Collinsville, MS

I have been wanting to get an XBOX360 for a while, and finally broke down and got one. My son and I are really enjoying it, and it was offered at a great price given the accessories that came with it. Thanks

    5 of 5 Buy it Monday, August 18, 2008
    A Gamer from Jackson,MS
Price is GREAT, beat everywhere else. The delivery time was two days even with the free shipping option, which was a nice surprise. Would be nice to include a teaser game just in case you did not buy one with it. I purchased mine with Halo 3 and they showed up in the same package. Smart of Buy.com to figure out that, if you had one without the other you would just be waiting looking at a brick. The graphics are GREAT.

5 of 5 Great system. A tad loud but runs cooler than pre Tuesday, August 05, 2008
    A Gamer from Woodbine, MD
Received unit recently. It's a Falcon with 175W power supply. Runs cooler with the new chip but the DVD spins non-stop at least when playing Halo 3. You don't realize how loud the DVD drive is until you quit the game and go to the XBox console. But it's less loud then earlier units. Gameplay is great and the interface of the XBox console is very user friendly. Wireless controllers work well and it's very easy to sync up additional controllers (hit sync button on your xbox and then on your controller). Controllers have great range even when talking on the headset. HDMI is key for great graphics and easy setup. I went for a wireless gaming adapter instead of buying the expensive MS wireless NIC.

1 of 5 If only the system would work.... Tuesday, July 15, 2008
    Alex from Midland, TX
Love XBOX Live... the games... the ease of use... HATE... the fact that I am on my 3rd xbox.... drive failure and 2 ring of death fails... The system has HORRIBLE hardware... and even worse customer service... Here is an experiment... go to Google type in "Ring of Death" ... you will see the thousands of complaints and problems. I used to think Microsoft meant quality.... not any longer.

    5 of 5 Compared to wii & playstation, xbox 360 wins by a Monday, May 19, 2008
A Gamer from Grand Rapids, MI
I have owned nintnedo and sony systems all my life and this is the first time I have purchased a Microsoft system. I know many people rip on Microsoft for various reasons, but they built a game system with the best online play around. Yes the graphics are great, and the accessories are wonderful, but the online play was built perfectly. With the xbox you can communicate with your friends in real time no matter what game they are playing. And playing GTA 4 with 16 friends online is amazing. Coordinating attacks & where to meet and cause havoc in the city would not be the same on another game system.

    5 of 5 Falcon Confirmed Monday, April 28, 2008
    Andrew from Charlotte, NC
Ordered 4/19/2008, received 4/23/2008. New Falcon system confirmed with quieter Benq drive. Overall this is still the best value going for a modern game system. Game library is unmatched, as is the Xbox Live online community. HDMI cables can be had for under $10, and with the newer hardware revisions the failure rate should be significantly reduced. If you can find a coupon @ fatwallet.com or elsewhere, this is probably the best deal you'll find with free shipping & no tax.

    5 of 5 Fantastic system Friday, April 18, 2008
A Gamer from South Amboy, NJ
Great Next Gen console - the only thing that hurts it is the high failure rate, I am on my 3rd unit. I am glad MS updated the warranty to 3 years.

2 of 5 Good Games, Horrible Hardware!!!!! Tuesday, April 08, 2008
    Mike from Chicago, IL
I bought my 360 from Best Buy in the beginning of '07. I have since went through 3 different systems. The first system had major disk read errors. When I would put a disk in, the system wouldn't recognize it. I took it back, got another one. The next system got the RRoD (if you don't know what this is, I suggest you do some research because this is a MAJOR problem with 360's). Took it back, got another one. The next system would make really load noises, scratch disks, and cut off by itself sometimes. I thought it was possessed. Needless to say these issues annoyed me. Granted, I bought it with a store warranty so I didn't have to pay anything extra, but who wants to go through this type of ordeal over and over?!?! I am not the only one thats have several 360's go out on them either. A quick Google search will show the 1000's if not millions of people that have had these issues. Some retailers even report that the 360 failure rate could be as high as 30%, which is why MS extended the warranty to three years. But don't be fooled. The three year warranty is ONLY if your system gets the RRoD. It doesn't cover the disk scratch problems and it doesn't cover general over-heating issues. This was my first time buying a MS console and sadly it has been a bad decision. The games look really good, but if you plan on playing for more than an hour, you're a true gambler. As my friends and I found out, its not a matter of if but when will it die out. Between four of us, ten 360s have died (I count for three by myself). I also have a PS3 since it launched and I haven't had any problems at all with it. I leave it on without worries and you can barely hear it during gameplay or movie playback. If you have a HDTV and want the total package, PS3 is the way to go. It has way more features (built-in Blu-ray, WiFi, memory card slots, swappable HDD, Bluetooth connectivity, web browser, rechargable controllers, largest amount of game studios, free online play) then the 360. That's right, if you want to play online with your friends you have to pay MS in addition to whatever you already pay for your internet access. I thought I would add that because I was shocked when I talked to people and they had no idea they had to play just to play online with others with a 360. Get a 360 if your feeling lucky, but don't say you haven't been warned. I took mine back and exchanged it for store credit. I'll be gaming on a PS3 for the rest of the generation and so will the rest of my buddies.

    5 of 5 xbox 360 purchase Monday, April 07, 2008
    Brittany from Ashland, Ohio
Thank you so much! My boyfriend loves his birthday present and I'm guessing it's working great. It was worth the $350 with the 20 GB harddrive. You were a better price than best buy. Thanks again!

    5 of 5 Great System Monday, March 31, 2008
    Ilya from Staten Island, NY.
If you have an HDTV, this is definitely a system to get. Its easy to install, comes with a one year warranty, and has amazing graphics. Even if you dont have an HDTV, the graphics are still great except not as bright. The games are a bit expensive ($60) but thats how you know you are getting quality. Has great parental controls. You can connect it to your computer and use its memory to save your games if you run out. Thats probably the only bad thing about 360, 20GB isnt a lot of memory and if you are using live to buy games or download movies you will definitely run out of memory.

4 of 5 Works like it should, power cord could be better Monday, March 31, 2008
    A Gamer from Fairfax, VA
I wrote to Buy.com concerning the power cord. The Xbox 360 power cord comes in two parts and dont fit together very snuggly. If I accidentally bump the TV, the power goes out to the Xbox. This would be rather annoying if it happened in the middle of the game. Buy.com wants me to send the entire Xbox back in the mail. I think I'll take my chances going through Microsoft. Also, the disc tray doesn't open the smoothest. Whenever I open it to put another disc in, the tray jerks its way out. Other than those two flaws, the games look and sound great on my big screen.

    5 of 5 Awesome!!! Thursday, March 20, 2008
A Gamer from Broken Bow, Nebraska
Even though I got budget shipping I still received in a few days!! I am impressed at the delivery speed. I ordered this product not knowing that they have a tendency to break down. So I am hoping mine doesn't!! When I got this machine I played it for an hour or so and I was shocked at how hot it was after I was done playing. So I would recommend getting a cooling system for it.

5 of 5 pricey but nice Friday, March 14, 2008
    A Gamer from new york
Amazing graphics, Dashboard takes a bit of getting used to, New falcon mobo but old disc drive, Other then the loud disc drive and the steep price for the console and everything related the 360 is great, Still hesitant to keep it running for more than two hours the most, totally scared of RROD, If only I could figure out the wireless bridge instead of buying the expensive adapter i would have a review including xbox live

5 of 5 Great gaming and multimedia platform Sunday, September 02, 2007
    crazytech_guy from maryland
This is a great overall system that encompasses a lot of great features in this one package. Essentially this is a super computer that as of now you would be hard spent to match with a desktop PC. Not mentioning the wide variety of games, which there are, the other multimedia aspects of this system, including the ability to play music, view photos and watch movies off your computer are more than worth the price. Anyways great system that everyone should own.
