...expensive for what it is. Very good if you're starting from the arcade model; you'll eventually find that the hard drive becomes a necessity, and this (unfortunately) is probably your most economical upgrade path. XBL membership was a bonus on top of the headset + hard drive. Was this review helpful?

This was a must have for the teenaged gamer in the house - he's very satisfied with it. The extras (membership & headphones) were a nice addition. I was happy it was able to be bought at a good price. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Cheap upgrade option from Arcade to Pro Monday, December 15, 2008

For those of you that bought the Arcade version for $199. This is a cost-effective way to upgrade to the Pro. You basically get a 3 month live free going this route. The wired headset is nothing to write home about. If you are using a wireless controller, you should be using a wireless headset. I say the 60GB hard drive is still pretty expensive, but buy.com has it for $93.99 compared to $99.99 at other retailers. Was this review helpful?
