The accurate and efficient OCR software allows continuous scanning and recognition of business cards. It’s TWAIN compatible, so you can use any other TWAIN compatible scanning software with the scanner.

WorldCard supports various data extension, such as Import/Export/Sync from/to/with Outlook, Outlook Express, Palm, Lotus Notes, ACT!, ACT! Premium for Workgroup, Goldmine, Salesforce.com, Microsoft Mobile and other PIM software. Also, Import/Export from/to Excel and Access.

I just bought this unit and have owned it for a couple of weeks to use to scan business cards I get after my presentations for my home based business. This unit is small, easy to install out of the box and I was able to get it working quickly. It scans accurately about 90% of the time - requiring one to edit minor items such as "i" or "j" mistakes and some names that are not caught properly. Also, I thought it would take written names, but it doesn't do that as well. All in all, it has been a life saver for my arms since I don't have to type in client information that I get from shows.

I've owned of these at home for over 3 years now and decided on buying one for my business office. We use it around the office to add 100's to 1000's of business cards in the course of business. Has saved alot of time then inputing them by hand. Very easy to install and operate. Very durable too.
