One of my friends got this game about six months ago, he got addicted to it and another friend got the game, also got addicted to it and so on until the disease spread to me. One of my friends worked overtime for two months to buy a computer just to buy this game. Once you get it your life will be gone. Once you reach level 60 (the highest you can) you will just start another character, or go on another server. Your life will be devoted to this game and you will never reach the end of the game, there are new patches all of the time. Most people I know spend 4-8 hours on weekday and up to 14 on the weekend! It is a great game but I dont reccomend it if you have a job, a girlfriend or a life. Now for birthday gifts, my friends exchange gold (game currency) for gifts. Great game, battle sequences are a little cheesy but overall its great. The internet lag is not that bad on dialup. Was this review helpful?

This is a must have for any fan of any of the Warcraft series, and a real gem for any of those who are not. The gameplay is superb, you are never bored, never confused and never left unsatisfied with the days achievments. You make friends and enemies, and despite all the server laggs and breakdowns its the most reliable internet game I have ever played. Was this review helpful?

If you value your job, relationships, and health- do not buy this product. This game is so fun and so addictive that everything else in your life basically gets put on hold. If I had $1 for every time I told myself that I was just going to play for one hour, that I'll stop playing right after I return this one quest, that I'll go to bed by midnight....

Think of this game as everything right and good in other MMOs coalesced into one great gaming experience.
******Gameplay******: Solo or Grouped this game is fast paced (albeit not fast like a FPS but fast for a MMORPG), and remarkable strategic. There are multiple strategies open to you (and your group) for taking on baddies and crushing them under your boot.
******Graphics******: The world is blooming with rich colors and oozes style. Every single city has a unique feel and appearance, making even exploration a fun and rewarding action. The cartoonish graphics are a nice break from others games attempts to make things look realistic. The Cartoony graphics also mean that it doesnt take a god-like computer to run the game. On the other hand, because the graphics are very stylized they may not appeal to you. I recommend watching some movies or looking at the screenshots that are all over the internet.
******Challenge******: This game is hardly as hardcore as the EQ series, but dont mistake that for meaning it is a cake walk. There are tons of dungeons to explore both by yourself and with friends and in many cases there are quests that take place in these dungeons that grant some nice items. The leveling is relatively fast and there is not a steep death penalty. This may turn some people off but I find it nice to be able to just jump back into the action rather then have to pay off an experience debt or loose experience outright. Te coin cost of reviving without your corpse can be a little steep but gathering up your corpse is a cake walk most of the time so its not a big deal.
******Overall******: This is a breat game that is fun to play both solo and grouped. It is even better when you start to build social bond within the game and a nice network of friends. I recommend this to anyone that can find a copy. Was this review helpful?

I played the open beta for 3 weeks (including a stress test of their servers) and enjoyed the game thoroughly. There is SO much more to see and do in this game, it'd take literally months to see much of it, and the promise to continually add content to this already HUGE game will keep me coming back for more. Stunning graphics, quests, and things to do for fun and money making when you aren't leveling or questing. Just pure FUN! Was this review helpful?
