This thing actually has some pros and cons. Unfortunately, the strongest by far are the cons. Pro: Makes you feel bigger than Dirty Harry, Pro: Looks really cool, old-school Nintendo colors, clicks apart real awesome-like, like a shotgun being reloaded, Con: The thing gets way incredibly too heavy to hold after a while, you'll need constant pauses just to rest, Con: The triggers for the thing are ingeniously designed, except that Nintendo went the opposite direction to push it's Wii Zapper, so 'Z' button is never used as trigger in games, controls are not remappable, and it is far too awkward to use 'b' as trigger, as it attaches to the barrel of the 'gun'. In the future, maybe some games will have z-button triggers, but it isn't real likely.
All in all, a toy that looks great, is fun to show off, but absolutely and completely impractical under use. A flashy novelty item that no one will use to play Wii games. Was this review helpful?

The trigger (B button) is near the end of the barrell and therefore very difficult to use in any shooting game - I thought it would make sense when the thing arrived but no - it makes no sense - junk Was this review helpful?

As advertised it is supposed to work with wii play. Unfortunately, this device is totally inaccurate and unusable. There is no way to adjust the sites, or adjust the aim. Playing duck hunt or resident evil is absolutely useless. Specifically, the bullseye on the tv is a good 6 inches to a foot lower than the projected aim. Totally frustrating. I mean why bother using a gun that doesn't shoot straight. I highly advise against this product. I've read the wii zapper is a better product. I'm going to give that a try. Was this review helpful?
