Wenger Yukon Notebook Case by Wenger SwissGear (r) Maker of the Genuine Swiss Army Knife(tm)

Very nice, ver durable lots of space to organize items. Bought it for my MacBook PRO 17"...fits perfectly! However the ONLY thing that would make it excellent is should have rotating shoulder strap clasps.

On one hand, this bag looks great and has a very durable exterior. On the other hand, I am surprised there isn't more padding and disappointed at the flimsiness of the interior pockets. I bought this bag because I will eventually get a 17" laptop; but it is awkward to carry my 15" wide screen in this bag. I also don't like the zippered accessory bag that is supposed to fit in the main compartment. It fits awkwardly with my 15" laptop and I wonder if it will scratch the cover of a 17" laptop.

This case/bag looks formal yet durable. I've been using one of these to carry my 17" laptop in for a year. After a year, the outside fabric looks just slightly dusty, simply because I've never dusted it. Also the outside fabric has slight wrinkles to it. Overall, the appearance is still pretty good. The case is just the right size, not too bulky yet has enough compartments for things.

the first case that was sent to me had a small tear on the seam near the zipper. The free return shipping made the return process bearable, and a new case was sent to me promptly

This is the second Wenger Laptop bag I have bought. I bought this becasue I loved my first one so much. This fits my HP DV9700 perfectly with room to spare. I use this for work and carry my power supply, mouse, planner, and a bunch of files easily. I love it becasue it is professional looking, so I am not embarrased to walk into a meeting with it by my side. Great Bag I highly recommend it.

This is a great case and fit my 17" laptop easily. It is very well made and should last years. I have no complaints. The only thing I wish is that it had a little more room to store other items but that would have made the case larger and more bulky which is not a good thing for a case that holds a 17" laptop.

Ordered two days ago and received it today, April 30th, with free delivery! Thanks buy.com! Case looks great, beautiful, and my HP Pavilion dv9700t fits perfectly inside it. It seems to be a comfortable case to carry around, right size, not bulky, in my opinion (a 17" notebook is bulky by itself, if you think about it), a good side pocket, nice looking. To the guy that wrote that he'd rather have zippers in the inside pockets, over velcro flaps, I'd say, think again, zippers could damage, scratch the notebook top surface so velcro is a much smarter option. But I agree with him that the shoulder strap should have rotating clasps. I have cheaper cases that have rotating clasps and it's much more practical. All in all, a great case for the price.

A little bulky (I could probably fit two stacked laptops in it) and a little on the heavy side. I''d like to see the two large accessory pockets moved to the outside to give the case a more compact profile. A substantial case and good value especially if your on a budget. Clamshell design is convenient.

I can't complain too much, it was a bargain at less than 50 dollars. It seems durable, although I havent used it much. The shoulder strap doesn't have fully rotating clasps, so you have to get it straight every time you put it on. The strap is also a bit short, so if you like to have the bag hanging below your rear you're out of luck. The inside pockets are okay, but zippers would be preferable over the velcro flaps. A protected pocket for a wireless mouse would make the case great for me. Also, it's tough to find a good place to fit the power cord, as the giant black converter box takes up a lot of space. However, these features would make the bag a lot bulkier. My 17 inch laptop fits perfectly, and the two securing straps would hold a 15.4 inch laptop fine, I assume. If you're looking for something to hold the laptop and a few accessories, it's a great deal.

I bought this case for my daughter who is starting med school. She currently uses a Dell 15.4 inch notebook. I purchased the one for 17 inch notebooks to allow her extra room for whatever else she wants to put in there. She loves it! The case is very well constructed with plenty of room. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a case for a 15.4 inch notebook.

The case got here 3 days after I ordered it. It's sturdy and not bulky and perfect for what I carry. If you want to use it to carry a lot of paperwork with you, you might want to look for a larger case. The only improvement to the bag I would like to suggest is the placement of the straps that secure the laptop. Once you lay your case flat, the straps don't stay up and over the space that you would put your laptop. Placing and secure your laptop require two hands (since you would need to hold one of the straps up and placing your laptop in the case with the other) which can be annoying. It's a good case otherwise. The case costs $20 less at Buy.com than retail.

Got this for my husband. He was using just his briefcase to carry his 17" Acer laptop--no protection. He didn't want to give up his leather briefcase. Got this bag for him anyway. When he saw how good-looking the case is, how he could carry everything he needed to carry with room to spare, and that it even had a pocket for his knife, he "tossed" his briefcase aside. It's also lighter than his briefcase. He is VERY pleased with it. Good buy from Buy.com. Now, I'm getting one for myself. I have a beautiful brocade laptop case for my 17" Acer and I love it but it's too large and heavy and doesn't hold nearly as much stuff as the Wenger case can hold. Besides, I like its looks and price, too.

I bought this bag because i like the looks of it and it was the right dimensions for my laptop and books and its even water resistant (proof?). The only thing I don't like about it is the strap doesn't have swivel points so you can unwrap the twisted parts while you're walking, you've gotta stop and take it off. I am also a student so its somewhat frustrating with all my books at times. Not bad overall, but may not be the best for a book carrying student.

This is the only wenger bag that fits a 17 inch laptop. As a matter of fact when I first laid eyes on it I did not think it was big enough for my HP zd8000. Its not big and bulky, but its slim and sleek looking. The only thing I wish this bag had is a few more compartments. Because of the slim design I don't think I can carry everything I would want to. But if you have a big laptop, and dont carry much around its perfect! The price is well worth it. Overall I am satisfied. I will just watch what I carry around.
