5 of 5 Best Taste – Easiest Charcoal Tuesday, September 23, 2008 A Customer from Omaha, NE
Recently went on a vacation to a wilderness lodge and got to use a Weber grill. I could hardly believe how moist and tasty food is on a Weber charcoal grill. My wife said the charcoal does give better culinary results, but the effort of lighting coals is not worth giving up the ease of gas. Then we found the Weber Performer with gas ignition. This system is the best of Weber charcoal grilling, with only a little more work than a gas grill. I have also used uber-expensive wood pellet grills and I find the flavor/quality of food in a Weber kettle to be better at fraction of the price of a wood pellet grill. The quality of the Weber Performer is outstanding – easy to assemble and very logical design. I have also found the Weber Performer to be better in windy conditions (with the lid on) than any gas grill I have ever owned. Bottom line – Weber charcoal grills are great and the Performer is as good and easy as charcoal can be. Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 Top Of The Line Weber Grill Thursday, July 05, 2007 Dougieritch from North Little Rock, AR
This is an excellent charcoal grill if you want to fork out around $300. It comes with a lot of neat features such as a temperature gauge, propane igniter (which I may never use), charcoal holder, lid holder, and my favorite the attached table to set plates on which frees up your hands.
The grill was super easy to assemble (took about 30 min), however the wheels seem a bit cheap. The only complaint I have about this grill is the lid handle gets very hot and that is the reason I gave it a 3 for performance.
If you are not impressed with all these features I would recommend getting a cheaper Weber grill, but overall I love this grill and I would recommend it to anyone.

5 of 5 What a grill!!! Friday, June 08, 2007 Joey Z from Tomball, TX
While Webber has always been the standard for charcoal grills, they have done a great job of merging the convenience of propane into this system...
A breeze to assemble and the other added features makes this grill worth the money; even though I caught a special markdown price from a BUY.COM newsletter, I was willing to pay full price for this grill. Was this review helpful?
