5 of 5 Verbatim DVD+R 95098 Tuesday, July 22, 2008
WinCrazy from Ambler, PA

Pros: This brand and model number is the *very best* there is. Expect 100% burn success. Any coasters will be due to you doing something you shouldn't have done during the burn process or something that is wrong with your system ------ Cons: Absolutely none ! Well, it would be nice if the cake box had the part number written on it somewhere... ------ Other thoughts: Use the best with the best: Get Nero. Even the cheapo version that comes with many optical drives, or from _B^y is truly excellent. DVD+R discs are compatible with more DVD players than DVD-R discs.

5 of 5 DVDs, what can I say Monday, July 07, 2008
DesertEagle from New York
DVDs are a great way to backup your stuff, whatever it may be. In my opinion, optical media are the best way to store data. They are waterproof, not prone to EMP, and have a lot of space.

5 of 5 Better than DVD-R of same brand Thursday, May 29, 2008
A Customer from Brooklyn, NY
The rather large logo on the face gives the impression that the company is offering a product, which proudly represents them. The disks have a heavier and thicker feeling than the dvd-r's I recently used (same brand). The dvd-r s had some negative revs but I had no trouble burning. No problem reading "yet" also. These disks (dvd+r) also have no problem burning or reading. They actually feel like they offer better reading than "-"s. This is purely objective and does not rely on any experiment data but the difference is obvious. I have a strong feeling that this product will yield longer life than any of the dvd-rs I have used so far. I would strongly recommend this product and I most probably will buy more of the same when I need more.

5 of 5 Verbatim DVD+R 4.7GB great buy Tuesday, May 27, 2008
Paul Laird from Austin, Texas
I purchased the Verbatim DVD+R when I saw the great buy they had on them. I am familiar with this product and have used Verbatim for years. Buying this product saved me money not only on the product but on gas. I trust buy.com to have good products at good prices. I will buy this product again when I need more.

5 of 5 One of the best out there...... Tuesday, May 27, 2008
A Customer from CT
I have been using Verbatim for years. They are all I use right now and I stock up when I find them on sale. TY and Ritek are also favorites, but Verbatim has better sales.

2 of 5 disappointed Thursday, May 22, 2008
photographer from Bloomsburg, PA
This is the first time I have ever had any trouble with a Verbatim product, but the spindle of disks I received are about 30 % worthless. I once would only use Verbatim disks but now will be looking at other brands. Nothing but problems with these, even with a brand new LaCie burner. Have tried burning with the OS, Toast 7 and Toast 8 Titanium... always a shot in the dark.

5 of 5 Good quality and good packaging Tuesday, May 06, 2008
alakuo@hotmail.com from HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL
I received the item in well-packaged box, although the container may be weak as I heard. I was 100% satisfied with about 40% of the disks was used in 12X speed. I always use one slower speed of the alleged maximum speed to assure the write performance.

5 of 5 No coasters at 16x Wednesday, April 30, 2008
nodlew from Torrance, CA
I have burned about 50 DVDs at 16x in the last 3 months with no errors, great product never used before. Using an Intel D915 cpu. My old Athlon 2500-2800+ boxes can only burn at 6-8x anything faster I get errors.

4 of 5 Questionably the best Saturday, April 26, 2008
FishStyx from St Paul, MN
Just started using these. Verbatim used to be the best, but now I get an occasional coaster from the ones manufactured in India as well. Still better than the others, but not the best anymore IMO. This has led me to try other brands like Memorex or Ritek since it's becoming harder to find deals on Verbatim. I'm trying Memorex DL discs now at half the cost of Verbatim and it's working out kay so far; just burn at 2.4-4x and it'll be fine.

3 of 5 Not as good as expected Friday, March 14, 2008
A Customer from Dallas, TX
I have been using TDK for 9 years now. Decided to give Verbatim a try since had heard good things. Have already had 5 DVD+R's out of 15 come out bad. The data gets copied but when you try to copy it back, it gives you "Cyclic errors" on certain files. I had only come across this issue on TDK with 1 DVD out of 100. Hopefully just a bad batch and not a sign of things to come from Verbatim.

5 of 5 Excellent Sunday, March 09, 2008
Bo Santamorena from Bronx NY
Buy.com is an excellent site. I got an outrageous deal on 2 great products. They were delivered very fast too. Verbatim is absolutely the best Dvd I ever used. If people are having problems with them I would say check their own equipment.

3 of 5 Okay but Not as Advertised Tuesday, February 12, 2008
A Customer from Salt Lake City
Other than two of the first six DVDs being coasters, they should be okay (as long as more coasters do not show up). I purchased these DVDs because research showed that they (Verbatim DVD-R) would write from Liteon and GoVideo DVD Recorders. Please be aware that they do not work on Liteon 5005 and GoVideo. So I am hoping they will work okay after they have been copied on a computer.

5 of 5 Flawless Sunday, February 03, 2008
nodlew81845@gmail.com from Torrance, CA
Burn flawless at 16x on Intel D930, Sony DW-G120A burner. Same burner on AMD Athlon 2500+ could only get 6x. Need CPU power and decent burner to get 16x.

5 of 5 Reliable and Good Burns Tuesday, January 29, 2008
A Customer from Lake Peekskill NY
The MID code for these is MCC004.. They are as best quality your gonna get from most of these DVD+/-R media manufacturers, so if you need reliable and good performing media, I would recommend you stick with these.. Obviously Taiyo Yuden media somewhat or even better than these, short of paying double/triple for them, these would be the better value.. If you have trouble burning these discs, you really should look into getting a decent burner since it also contributes to good burning..

5 of 5 Rock Solid DVDs Tuesday, January 29, 2008
A Customer from Houston, TX
You can get pretty much get any brand DVD+Rs for the same price so why get another brand when these output less than 1% coasters. I've tried many brands in my days and I've always had the best luck with Verbatim. Verbatim's dual layers also far excel the ress; less skipping than the rest I've tried.

5 of 5 Top Grade Media Sunday, January 27, 2008
D_Trizzy@hotmail.com from Stamford CT
This is the best media besides the other made in japan only brands. Verbatim Single layer atleast is still one of the best in the business for quality control. If you want near perfect burns then use this media. There are plenty of fake media that uses the same media code as these Verbatim MCC 004 DVD+R. Bittset movies or everything for that matter for maximum compatablity! If you ever have issues burning this media then its your hardware that would have to be at fault. Most DVD burners should have the correct write stratgy's to properly burn these. I burn at 4x for the highest quality scans. I suggest no one ever burn over 8x for any media, even quality ones like these. Does anyone really need to burn movies in under 5mins? After rebates this is the best valued quality media there is.
