5 of 5 Verbatim 16gb is the way to go Friday, February 20, 2009 Mike from Pickerington, Ohio
Just awesome! I've used Verbatim as well as others over the past 10 years and all I can say is Verbatim has never once failed me.
I purchased 2 of these, one for me one for the better half.
CD's / DVD's / thumb drives / if it says Verbatim it has to be good.
Store "n" Go speed is great both read and write. I also love the slider, never lose that cap again.
Overall 5 out of 5 for me Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Works great for small files Wednesday, February 18, 2009 A Customer from Colorado Springs, CO
The first time I used this usb drive, it worked great. I created a small 'safe' partition and a large 'public' partition. I filled it with data, both large DVD-sized ISO files and small ones. It's not blazing fast, but it's fine.
The second time I used it, however, I tried to put a large ISO on it, and it said, 'destination drive is full'. I reformatted to a large 'safe' partition and tried to put the file on that, with the same results. I ended up having to cut the file into smaller pieces and copy that way. It worked fine, but kind of a pain. Was this review helpful?

It works very well, the read / write speeds are decent, and the 16 GB storage is very nice.. the price was good.... a recommended buy. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works for Ready Boost Saturday, October 11, 2008 A Customer from CharlesEtheridge@comcast.net
I was mainly looking to accelerate how quickly things would load in my Vista Ultimate SP1. I don't think that thumb drive of this size is what Microsoft had in mind, but my computer has 4GB RAM and it assigned the drive 4.08GB for ready boost. Though it doesn't make all that much difference in Boot Up time, once things are running I've been able to see a remarkable improvement in opening fresh programs, especially things like the TV tuner and Blu-Ray DVD playing programs. So far I'd say that it was well worth the experiment. Was this review helpful?
