| This extensive best-of features one of the quintessential R&B ballad singers of the 1980s and '90s, heard here both solo and in his more familiar incarnation as a collaborator with artists like Roberta Flack, Natalie Cole, and Celine Dion. Including his 1984 hit "If You're Ever in My Arms Again," his version of the Doobie Brothers' "Minute By Minute," and "Tonight, I Celebrate My Love," his unforgettable duet with Roberta Flack, THE VERY BEST OF... also features earlier successes like "Reaching For the Sky" and "I'm So Into You," recorded with Michael Zager's Moon Band in the '70s. A feast for fans of smooth R&B, this set is a softly romantic musical celebration of a unique singer. | |

Peabo Bryson's smooth, sweet, seemingly effortless singing voice is the epitome of contemporary soul, easy-listening division. The Grammy Award-winning singer and producer has appeared regularly on the pop and R&B charts since the late 1970s, perhaps most notably as the vocalist of the 1984 soft-rock classic "If Ever You're In My Arms Again." Bryson has also mastered the art of the romantic duet, intertwining his voice with those of such superstars as Natalie Cole, Roberta Flack, and Celine Dion.
