What a bargain for a set of 5.8 GHz cordless phones from Uniden. Evenhtough they are refurbished, they work great!

I could tell it was refurbished by a missing screw and charged up battery on one phone. Other than that they look ok, and the phones work fine. I haven't tried all the features yet, but it seems to a good set of phones. Now I have a phone in every room, and then some!

I had a Uniden back in college several years ago, and it was just so so, but with the price being so reasonable on a repaired unit, I figured it was worth the risk. This phone has great features! You can check the voicemail from any of the units. We do not have a phone jack handy in our living room, so we have never had a phone in there. With this phone, all you need is an outlet. All of the units sync with the main unit, which is the only one that needs a phone jack. There are many ring tones, and you can assign different ring tones to different phone book entries. You can also save caller id entries to the phone books olf all the phones from one instead of having to do it at each individual phone. My only complaint so far is it seems that the battery time is a little on the short side, but if you charge each phone every night, it doesn't seem to be an issue. Also, the ringers only have two levels. It would be nice to have a few more ringer levels instead of off, loud, and very loud, especially for the bedroom phone. I haven't thrown the waterproof phone in the toilet to test it's waterproof feature, but I do like it for a garage phone. I also would have liked to have the phones packed better. They were a little scratched up from minimal packing, so they look more used than they are, but again, the price was right!

Uniden is a quality brand and these phones are no exception. Ease of use, clarity, feature-rich. the only drawback is the puny 30 day warranty, but at this price it's still a great value.

This set of phones works great. We love them and cant wait to use the water proof one out near the pool this year. The clarity of the calls is excellent, the distance from the main phone is good, have not had static yet. We have been Uniden fans for a long time now, more than 10 years. If we ever get a phone they are always at the top of the list to look at. This is our 4th set of Uniden phones, and we still have the first 3. The original one is around somewhere but after the second battery finally stopped charging we did not replace it and opted instead to get a new phone.

great value for this 4 handsets 5.8 GHz phone. unable to tell it was referb product. great clear reception. water proof hand set that can be used in outdoor is a plus. fast shipping from buy.com as always.

Love this phone. Easy to use. Can send contacts to some or all handsets so they don't have to be reentered. Great value for a great phone

Excellent phone system! Would purchase again! Easy to use, easy to set up! Would highly reccommend this product to everyone! Love having a 'waterproof' phone around. Kids tend to leave the cordless phones outside, this will no longer be a problem! --- Especially love the feature of being able to retrieve your messages from the handsets. Excellent product!

Excellent Phone, fast shipping, poor manual regarding troubleshooting however customer service support is excellent and worked through the problem with resetting handset not listed in manual.

This set of four phones has truly impressed me. I used to get static in my calls, but these phones are crystal clear. They have a ton of features and you get four phones! They say they're refurbished, but if it didn't say it, you wouldn't know they weren't bought brand new from a store. Highly recommended!

I bought 2 of these. I now have 8 phones spread thru my home. They seem to work very well. It was easy to program the phones -Regular setup was very simple also. I haven't used the answering machine, but it seems to be OK. We are very pleased to no longer have to run between 4 levels.

Wonderful reception, the line is so clear! And this is through the internet, so this is a big PRO!! We love these phones and I am so glad I got them. I also love how you can listen to your messages from any of the phones, not just the answering machine.

I purchased this phone to replace three existing phones at our home and immediately new we made the right choice with these. The phones are stylish, comfortable and realy good in sound quality. The phones are equiped with nice features and one is waterproof that will come in handy in the pool area.

I was amazed at the quality and condition of these units. Easy to set up and use. Sound clarity, reception and range is excellent. Especially liked the waterproof handset, will come in handy for the bathroom or use outside. Caller ID, call waiting, address book, speed dial are just a few features. Although limited, you can customize the rings so you know who is calling even if your not near the phone. Great for assigning a ring to a friend, relative, or your boss at work! The shipping only took a few days and of course the buy.com price couldn't be beat!

Great item and a really Awesome price,I have phones all over the house now,it took awhile for me to get them all set up there are so many features I dont even use all of them but like they say their available if I need them.

I love the fact you only need to plug the base into a phone jack. We use this set with VOIP and it is fantastic! I also love the fact we can page the other phones via the intercom system. My teenagers cannot avoid hearing me call them to dinner now ;)

I purchased these refurbished units to replace a set of GE phones. I really like the features and performance of these units. The added bonus of having the waterproof handset is great for when I am outdoors. Sound quality is exceptional. Answering system works great. Ability to retrieve messages from any handset and speakerphone on each are also great features. Recommended.

What a bargain for 4 handsets in a feature-rich 5.8 GHz Digital phone. The box said refurbished/reconditioned, but other than more basic packaging, there'd be no way to tell the difference with a non-refurb. Reception is great and callers will hear you as crystal clear as a wired phone.
