5 of 5 Pretty cool - works as advertised Wednesday, April 26, 2006 Halo Junkie from Texas
At first I thought this was going to be okay considering it was a USB headset not one I could use with my SoundBlaster AudigyZS card, but to my surprise it was very good. The vibrations were great in game and with music. The sound was not all that great till I realized I could change settings in the Sound Extension, then everything came alive.
I am a Halo freak and everything sounded great in this game. I cannot testify to other gaming experiences, but in Halo (for PC), it rocked. My music of choice is also old & new hard rock/metal. Yes it did very well with that too.
Over all, great buy! Good job Buy.com, the items were shipped fast and in great packing. Worth every cent I paid. Was this review helpful?

Really good performance, love the vibration in Battlefield 2. Sound is very good and helpful when someone is sneaking up on you. Good mic quality but the headset is a little heavy and can get somewhat uncomfortable. Was this review helpful?

Sound is really good coming out of this headphones. Plus the option of having the virbration / bass is really cool for the 3D Shooter games, especially Battlefield 2!
The one down side of this is that you will need to disable your current sound card/on-board sound chip. I suppose it will conflict with the new USB sound drivers which Windows XP automatically installs. You can just re-enable your regluar speaker sound system if your not planning on play around though.
Overall I would give this a 4 out of 5 rating, since with the headphones you loose your regular speaker playing ability until you switch back. But, if you play 3D Shooters / 3D Racing Sims you've GOT TO GET THIS HEADSET!
