Good Cable! buy it. I bought 2 of them, with No Bent casing! OR any other problems. they fit my Gateway LCD Monitor like A glove, I thought the rubber part of the plug was to big at first, But it wasn't, it was like A optical illusion! I tightened the screws down tight, and the metal casing seated all the way down to the bottom of the plug, perfect!! They matched up perfect to my Radeon HD video card to. The pins are gold plated, the casing is chrome plated copper!! the picture is wrong. Go buy what you read, Not what you See!! The video quality is great!!! The price is right. Upon arrival of the cable i noticed its not really gold tiped, nor high qual standard.
The outer connection is in fact copper not gold. Also one of the ends of the cable was bent. i had to use a screw driver to reshappen the outer caseing. (this could be due to shipping)
over all i am satified with the cord. Its not a high qual cord. It is a basic good working cord.
Stay away if you want the Best high qual HD connection only Was this review helpful?

First off cable is not gold plated. No freaking way. False advertisement. Dont belive me look at the picture more closely. I wish i did.
Second, Came damaaged, Was in cheap packageing, not surprised if it was used or referbished. The outer metal part (the metal caseing) was bent. I had to bend it back.
Third, defenly a low qual cable dont get this for a HD expensive monitor. Why am i not returning this then? cause it does its job (but nothing more) :) Was this review helpful?

Used this cable for my LCD monitor. Before this I used a VGA cable and the image quality was OK but needed occasional re-calibration (became somewhat fuzzy), now it's super clear. Cable seems well made and connectors worked good. Was this review helpful?

I bought this cable to go with a Viewsonic VG2030wm monitor that I also purchased from buy.com. Unfortunately, the cable end connector was too thick to push straight onto the monitor connector jack. I probably could have forced it, but elected to file the cable connector down a bit instead. Once done, it went on easily, and works just fine. Was this review helpful?

I pull my computer out for many different reasons (to plug, unplug, sweep, rewire, upgrade, etc). One of the big hassels was that the Monitor Cable would limit my ability to get behind there, sometimes I felt like I was standing on my head. It is really nice to have the monitor on the desk and the computer off to the side on the floor! Having the room to work, clean, etc is GREAT !!! Oh, the picture quality is great and the cable feels very sturdy. Was this review helpful?
