this works just as advertised. It cooled my laptop by about 6 or 7 degrees C, which makes a huge difference. After a few hours it does become less effective, but stick it in the freezer for 5-10 minutes to freshen it up. Its like an icepak for your laptop.

The ThermaPAK Laptop Cooling HeatShift Pad works exactly as it says it does. My laptop used to get extremely hot, especially when it was plugged in. With this pad, it doesn't get hot, it stays at a warm temperature. I highly recommend it to anybody with a laptop!
