I bought this to put in my emergency kit. I tried it out and it works as advertised. One shortcoming is no display for the radio frequency. You can just "seek" for the next station, but you don't know which station you are on unless you can recognize the broadcast.

It's hurricane season in Florida and I didn't have a weather radio so when this was on sale I purchased it. I'm glad I did. The radio and flashlight work on a crank. The flashlight is three different strengths. There is an AM/FM radio and the item included a pair of earbuds. I'll be buying more of these for sure.

Switchable light intensity, Just a little bit of cranking goes a long way, Compact enough to fit in glove box, Radio reception is good This would have come in handy during the recent power outage. Who owns a battery operated FM radio anymore??? Got this for a small measure of disaster preparedness. This may not handle rough handling due to the all-plastic construction.

Bright light, radio stations come in well and it lasts a long time. 5 minutes is longer than you think when you are cranking. The kids had a blast cranking it up. Good gift idea.

Easy to crank and lots of power in the battery. The flashlight works extremely well, as does the radio. This product will be very useful down here in Florida during the next big storm.
