Using a G router and the card supplied drivers. I installed the drivers and then the card. The installation was glitch free. I experimented with the XP network management software, believing it would be a cleaner interface, but I actually gave control back to the card's drivers before I was through; I think the card's drivers offer a more straightforward interface. Inexpensive, great range, ready to go N when I am. I own 2, and this is my choice if I need another.

This upgraded the downstairs desktop computer to wireless N, which has made a huge difference over the old wireless G! The TRENDnet TEW-643PI connects faster, stronger, and more reliably. This is in a year 2000 computer with an ancient 900MHz Athlon processor, which is amazing! The one thing I have to strongly caution is to never, never download drivers for this wireless card from Windows Update! The TEW-643PI uses a Realtek chipset that's commonly found in other network cards. Windows Update mistakes the TEW-643PI for one of those other cards, and then offers to install an inappropriate Realtek driver for this card. To save on major headaches, just tell it no; and then tell it to never show those particular updates ever again. ;) Anyway, this is an excellent wireless N card, and is a great value for the performance you get. I highly recommend it!

Installed drivers, plugged it in, and it just works. Very strong signal to my MIMO netgear router through 2 floors in brick building, urban setting... this thing picks up routers 6 doors down with enough signal to connect. Great deal and highly recommended.

Just followed the instructions (For Vista, install the software first, then install the card) and everything worked just fine. No problems entering the WEP key. My router is in another room on the same floor of my house and I get an "excellent" signal every time.

I'm suprised to say I agree with the other reviews. I have a linsys wrt310n router and this picks up the signal perfectly. Easy to set up. It says to install the software first and that works but I found no problems when I installed the card first. I bought a second one for my wife's computer I was so impressed. She's really happy we can get rid of the cables that kept trying to trip her!

Works great. Key is not to let the trendnet software to handle the wireless management. Do not follow the instruction manual. Let the window to recognize the hardware and you have to direct them to the driver supplied in the CD or downloaded the latest version in the internet

It's easy to install and setup and works great! I have not tested on a N network yet but the speed and signal strength is good even with my current g router. I also like the shape of the card as it gives more room for air flow within the case (I have installed this right under the video card and it doesn't block the fan). Overall I am very happy with my choice.

It's a nice card, easy to install and works great! I have not used it on N-network yet, so I can not comment on that aspect, but works fast on g netwrok as well. I like the shape of the board as it provides more room for the video card cooling fan just above it. The manual does say to install the provided software before installing the card and its dirver, but this is not necessary. you can just install the driver from the CD. I didn't like the software and went back to windows wirless manager.

I bought three of these (not at the same time) cards and install onto each of the computer inside the house. It works like a charm---doesn't matter where the location of the computer, it gets the signal. Easy to install. Highly recommanded.
