Pros: Generally works perfectly fine for keyboard, video, mouse, and speakers. Cons: Microphone plugged into it gives huge background noise for some reason. I am using something that looks like it is a stereo microphone (3 divisions in plug), so that might be the reason. Once in a while something in the electrical feedback somewhere turns on one of the computers attached. Not very frequently though. I once turned off one computer and another turned on. (???)

PROS: The price, it actually works, doesn't appear to degrade video quality, includes ALL necessary cables for 4 PCs, can switch audio and microphone (unique feature), hotkey switching works flawlessly. CONS: The form factor is the biggest drawback for this product. Cables literally attach to all 4 sides so this won't be sitting on your desktop due to the cable mess and footprint required. I'd give this a 5 star if it was a solid rectangle with all ports on the back. Also, though it includes cables the KVM cable is proprietary with 1 VGA-type plug that connects to the switch and VGA/mouse/key on the other end. So you won't be re-using your existing cables.

I'm using the 4-port KVM model to manage 2 Windows XP and 2 Linux machines. It works much better than I expected it would and I love the full 4 ports. I've tried 2-port KVMs from Belkin and IOGear, but was not happy with them because of the screen flicker I encountered when running the Windows machines with high screen resolution. I don't get any screen flicker with this model, and the setup is easy. I don't have any complaints except that I wish I would have found product sooner. Anyone want to buy my old KVMs?
