5 of 5 Best Backpack I've Ever Owned Friday, July 18, 2008 Suave House from Alexandria, VA
I've only had this backpack for a few weeks and I can already say this bag is the best I've owned. The pockets are plentiful and well placed, giving decent room for storage in each pocket. The back straps are the most comfortable ones that I've felt, with room at the top of the straps to stretch. The mp3 compartment is great for walking to work, and is separate from the rest of the bag, so your player is never lost. I also like the way the laptop compartment is not connected to the bottom of the backpack, which makes room to place more items below it. The bottom flap gives it a nice base, keeping it from falling over if you decide to set it down somewhere. The unit itself is built sturdy, and can take a beating. I highly recommend this backpack to anyone. It offers many useful features, many of which you know that you need and others that you, like me, won't even realize that you need til you buy one and use them for the first time. 5 of 5 Excellent solution for laptop transport Thursday, July 17, 2008 gw from Santa Monica, CA
Took the new backpack as my "purse/laptop" carrier on a one week trip to Hawaii. Fit under the airline seat and had ample room for laptop, wireless mouse, phone, i-pod, flash light, extra batteries, sunglasses, a three-ring binder and all the related charging supplies. Even had a convenient space to put my 1 quart clear plastic bag as well as a few gifts I bought home. The shoulder straps are padded and extremely comfortable. Was this review helpful?

This is a very sturdy backpack, and works great! It has a steel re-enforced handle, and padding on the back for comfort, as well as a padded laptop compartment. Also it has a small pouch at the top which is perfect for my glasses, so they don't get smashed. I can't think of anything they could do to make it better! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great travel bag from Swiss Army Wednesday, July 02, 2008 A Customer from Quincy, MA
This is a great multi-purpose travel bag. I can put my laptop, clothes, accesories, water bottles and books all in it without feeling the weight on my shoulders. The schok absorbant straps are awesome.
The mp3 socket cud be better so we cud actually fit the player in some pocket.
There are pockets for everything small to big and its very easy to organize your stuff within the bag. Along with its outstanding features it has a sleek stylish look as well. You would feel different carrying this bag on your back
Its a 9/10 bag!! Was this review helpful?

I searched for a backpack that would fit my needs and I looked at many but when I saw this backpack I knew it was the one for me. The backpack is built great has plenty of pockets and a place for my laptop and cords everything fits well and there is still room for my Zune to listen to music. This backpack is awesome even the color scheme is really nice. The first day I took it to work everyone complimented it and wanted to know were I got it. I told them buy.com and what the price was and almost everyone was going to buy.com to get one. A great backpack for the money hands down and very comfortable also. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Product, Great Price! Wednesday, July 02, 2008 A Customer from Daly City, CA
My son needed a laptop backpack for college. This bag turned out to be the perfect one! It is well constructed, well designed and has pockets everywhere. It has a well cushioned compartment for the computer and a separate, roomy compartment for books and notebooks. The backpack is padded thickly on the backside to avoid any discomfort while carrying the bag. We honestly don't think there's a better laptop backpack out there. I highly recommend it! 5 of 5 Nice Bag Monday, June 30, 2008 A Customer from Chicago, IL
When it was time to retire my old backpack after many years of faithful service, I searched for a bag that was durable, had lots of compartments to help me keep organized, and would keep my laptop and iPod safe and secure. The Swiss Gear Synergy has fully satisfied my needs at a price much lower than the trendy boutique brand laptop bags. There are compartments galore. Zippers and zipper pulls are sturdy. The bag stands upright on a durable, easily-cleaned base. The styling is conservative but attractive. My only complaint is that the bag is so great pretty soon everyone will have one. I have had this backpack for just a couple of weeks now. So far everything is great. Tons of pockets, plenty of space for my laptop , file folders, misc papers, mouse, cables, camera, etc. And the music player pocket has room for sunglasses, and other small items as well. Definitely a good purchase! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Very Nice Bag Sunday, June 22, 2008 Draicon from Las Cruces NM
This bag has a lot of pockets. The overall space of the bag is pretty good. The padding is really good. The bag puts almost no stress on my lower back. Other bags I have had with a laptop in it tend to put a lot of pressure on my lower back. Not from the pulling but just bumping around on my lower back and tail bone. This bag eliminates that problem. This bag makes the load you are carrying feel much lighter. I am a student and carry a laptop and books around most of the day so this bag really helps. 5 of 5 I'm not sure how I could improve it. Wednesday, June 18, 2008 A Customer from Lexington, KY
I'm an IT manager who bikes to work many days each week. I needed a good laptop friendly backpack. This one has been superb. I have adequate space for laptop, clothes for work, shoes, lunch, walet, cell phone, iPod, and air card, and I'm not even using all the possible pockets. The stand up feature works very well unless the only item in the bag is the laptop. It is big, but not overly so, and that's what I was looking for. (I had to ditch my glasses-mounted rear view mirror, because I couldn't see over the hump of the backpack.) The padding is great -- pretty breathable. I sweat where the bag actually touches my back, but that's a relatively small area, due to the arrangement of the padding. I really am at a loss for how it could be better. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Highly recommended - a great deal! Thursday, June 05, 2008 A Customer from Glen Cove, NY
Best laptop bag I've EVER had, and I've worked in IT for as long as there have been laptops. Takes some serious abuse - I am known to fill these things to extreme capacity. I break straps, I rip holes in nylon, I tear zippers. This bag can handle anything I throw at it and it has lasted longer than any of my other bags. The pocket layout is incredibly logical and allows me fast access to anything I need. Balances well across the back and is well padded. I could easily jam 70 pounds of stuff into this thing and then run a mile with it - that might say something about me (coughexmilitarycough) but it definitely also should say something about the bag. ;-7 Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 All in one backpack Thursday, June 05, 2008 A Customer from Boston, MA/ San Jose, CA
People tease me about this backpack all the time for being too big, but I love it! I put my laptop in the laptop area, my papers in the sleeve that holds papers in the second big compartment, my work out clothes and sneakers in the main area of second compartment, my lunch in the insulated 3rd compartment, my chargers and ipod in the smaller fourth compartment, loose change in the front most small zipper area, my keys and cell phone in the easy to reach top area, and my nalgene bottle in the water bottle holder on the side. It's the only solution I've found for carrying all this stuff in one bag (I used to juggle 3 separate bags). With all this stuff, it's still very comfortable to carry. It's great for everyday use, and for traveling on the weekends! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Backpack Friday, May 30, 2008 NetMorin from Raleigh, NC
This is one great laptop backpack. There are pockets everwhere, great protection for your laptop, and plenty of space should you need to carry extra large things like a 1 to 2 day business trip. I wear it every day. Well worth the few dollars extra over all the cheaper backpacks. Was this review helpful?
