5 of 5 Just what we needed Wednesday, August 13, 2008
A Customer from Tucson, AZ

The product downloaded very easily and began checking status immediately. We seem to have fewer problems (none so far) with the 360 than we have had with other Norton products.

4 of 5 Norton 360 works fine Monday, July 28, 2008
A Customer from Cleveland, Ohio
Easy to install and use. Works better than Norton internet security 2007. Quite satisfied with the supplier and product.

2 of 5 poor backup Wednesday, July 09, 2008
EDL from Edison, NJ
If you are thinking this will replace norton ghost think again. The backup software is very rudimentary. You cannot create differential backups, schedule multiple backups (ie more important backups with secure online backup and less important backups to a local hard drive). You cannot backup just specific folders without compressing it first (they tell me this is a bug and they will have a patch, who knows when). This product therefore I find less useful than the Norton internet security and norton ghost combo i had before. I don't even think this backs up before installing new software. Very disaapointing.

5 of 5 Can't beat it for the price Tuesday, July 08, 2008
A Customer from Cherry Hill, NJ
Installed easily over Norton's Internet Security, and for the 365 days of antivirus subscription (on 3 computers!), you can't beat the price!

3 of 5 alot of stuff Tuesday, July 08, 2008
bobk_nyc@yahoo.com from NYC NY
I normally wouldn't spend this much on a anti virous, as there are so many free, or low cost options. but because of rebates, I thought I would try. the 3 seat version falls short of the 5 family comps I wanted to cover, and I wouldn buy another box of 3, to cover 2. does not make sense. the 3 seats share the 2 gig of back up, so if someone hogs up say 1.8 gig, it leaves no room for the other users. otherwise, it is simular to all the other offerings out there. If you can get it for $20 a year, it is OK, otherwise go for something else.

5 of 5 It does it's job Monday, July 07, 2008
A Customer from Maribel, WI
I had original Norton 360 and it saved my computer. A friend told me to search the Internet for a video, it may of been inappropriate, I am not sure. While downloading what I thought was the correct video I managed to get a wicked bad virus. It took a couple two days but Norton 360 found and removed the problem. The time delay was due to Norton updating their known virus list. According to the virus detail list they knew of it the day I was infected, and the infection rate was rare. So I bought this one after my subscription expired, due to my new found product loyalty. So far so good. I like Version two better because it runs the scans while my computer is in idle. Haven't noticed a decline in performance as in some of the reviews I have read. Also installation was a breeze, easier than most software I have installed. Good product that has been good to me.

4 of 5 Norton 360 Saturday, July 05, 2008
A Customer from Palatine, IL
Norton 360 was easy to install and fairly straight forward. It looks to be doing a good job but tends to be intrusive at times. It is constantly monatoring and keeps popping up a a box to take action on a tracking cookie and it won't let me exclude it. It looks like it is locking up and can't decide what to do. It also kept pestering me to do a backup and I was skeptical about doing an online backup, but finally decided to do it and it took quite a long time to finish. This was on a brand new PC that I have only been using for a month or so. The backup took well over an hour to do. It was only 190 megabytes and it was over cable internet.

1 of 5 I would not buy again Saturday, June 21, 2008
A Customer from San Diego, CA
I purchased an HP computer which came with a Norton 90 day trial and after loading my programs, found that Norton slowed everything to almost a complete stop. Trying to do a system restore with Norton on the new HP Vista computer was a chore and a half. I removed Norton and went with a competitive product. I can say however, that the Norton software removal tool is the best product that Norton makes!

5 of 5 Excellent product Monday, May 19, 2008
A Customer from New York, NY
I've been using Norton security 06, 07, 08 and 360 now. Norton 360 provides a full suit of tools to protect your computer. Comparing to its previous versions, it is much faster on the same PC. Although Norton 360 trys to unstall all previous versions of Norton products. It didn't seem to unstalled clearly. You need to download "Removal Tool" from their web-site and run it. I'd suggest do this step before you install 360, especially if you have Ghost 10.0 installed before. Once Norton 360 is installed properly, it is perfectly functioning. Their rebate process is fast comparing to other product's rebate.

5 of 5 Good buy, can't complain at this stage! Monday, April 28, 2008
Happy Customer!!! from Baltimore, MD
I bought this item with a bit of hesitation/suspicion since some of the reviews (elsewhere!) I had read were pretty bad! But eventually muscled up the courage to install it.....on my new Toshiba laptop running Vita Premium! The installation went without a hitch, first it asked me to remove McAFee (which came with the laptop) and second to reboot! Then it went on to remove Norton Confidential (also part of the trail software) and installed everything in about 15 mins! Overall a breeze.....after which it went into a scan mode and told to update/verify various bits and pieces and it has not slowed down the system (another worry!) I would recommend this to others as well. Happy Customer.... Now all I have to do is wait for the 60 dollar rebates!!!

2 of 5 Many bugs that affect most users Sunday, April 27, 2008
brossyg@msn.com from Connecticut
Causes multiple instances of MS Office apps to remain open and with memory committed, even though they are shut (360 1.0 does not have this bug). If you open/close MS Word five times, for instance, WINWORD.EXE will show up in Task Manager processes five times, each with full memory commited. Happens with all Office apps. An active user will run out of memory very quickly. Also, if you use PC Anywhere, this will render it unusable.

1 of 5 Stink, Stank, Stunk Friday, April 25, 2008
Jeffrey J from Curtice, Ohio
This is a terrible product. Do not buy! You'll spend days getting it to run only to have it mess up your computer. Symantec should be ashamed of itself for putting such crap on the market!

5 of 5 Very comprehensive product Sunday, April 13, 2008
A Customer from Greenville, Tx
From other reviews I was a concerned about the reported slow performance of this product. After the install, it did slow down my AMD x2 64 bit system. After further investigation, I found that all the features were turned on. I did not need many of the features and I turned them off. This improved the speed considerably. The software now works just as good as any security software. It has a lot of nice features including the saving of logins and passwords so you don't have to remember them. If you enable all the features, you can protect your computer against improper use such as visiting web sites that secretly install software that can steal your identity or even your passwords, but you will take a hit on speed. This is an excelent product as long as you read the instructions and enable just what you need.

5 of 5 Great protection, doesn't slow system much Sunday, April 13, 2008
A Customer from Akron, Ohio
I've used Symantec products since 1992 and 360 since it first came out. Most recently, Systemworks and Norton Antivirus. They slowed my systems significantly. This product seems to provide excellent protection without slowing things down much. Automatic defrag and backup also help. Sometimes I forget and am reminded only when a hard drive crashes or my system has slowed to a crawl and defrag becomes an all night affair. I like 360 and 360 v. 2!!!

4 of 5 Skip backup Saturday, April 12, 2008

Excellent all purpose security and system maintenance tool - but disable the backup option. It is not customizable enough and extremely slow to setup and use.

5 of 5 Works well, I guess Monday, April 07, 2008
ffacker@yahoo.com from Houston, TX
It seems to run well on both my Vista and XP systems. The automatic backup settings are nice. I'm still waiting on my rebates to eventually show up ... someday. The only thing I don't like is that I wish I could turn it off while I'm doing heavy video editing, but there's no option to disable it once it's installed.
