This mini External Multi Monitor Video Adapter turns an available USB 2.0 port into a VGA port - providing high quality dual display or multi-monitor capability that can be used in a variety of laptop or desktop applications.

Simply connect the adapter to a host computer through USB 2.0, then connect a VGA monitor to the port it provides.

The adapter is a cost-effective external VGA video card for Windows CE 5.0 devices, as well as for Windows 2000, XP and Vista(tm) - a great option for viewing content from handheld/mobile devices or from a desktop/laptop computer on an added display.

    Using with a laptop that had its screen removed, plus another external monitor. Installed easily, works fine with Vista. Tried it with Windows 7, but no joy, not a problem, went back to Vista. Using a 22" HP monitor, the 1280 x 1024 resolution is fine. Great product for the price!

    I am very satisfied with Startech's Multi-monitor video adapter. It works very smoothly with my 2 monitors and its pretty easy to install as well. I'm using a HP monitor and an IBM monitor - there's no kind of issue in using different monitors. Definitely a good buy!

    Very easy to install; plug and play. Very easy to use. With a simple right click choice options, I can extend or mirror my primary monitor screen. I'd highly recommend it. I'm using this as a companion to my laptop (XP Pro). I have an old SVGA monitor sitting around waiting to be recycled...may as well put it to good use.
