 Editor's Note
A team of scientists and military personnel is dispatched to a far-off galaxy to explore the remnants of the Lost City of the Ancients--also known as Atlantis--in this STARGATE SG-1 spin-off series. The Ancients were an advanced human race that initially created the Stargate network, and diplomat Dr. Elizabeth Weir (Torri Higginson) and pilot Major John Sheppherd (Joe Flanigan) head the international squad that is sent to investigate. The team arrives at Atlantis to find the city abandoned and their ship permanently stranded, unless they can find a power source to get themselves home to earth. They make contact with a brave but primitive native civilization as well as with the evil Wraith species. This season features the arrival of THE X-FILES veteran Mitch Pileggi in the recurring role of Colonel Steven Caldwell.

5 of 5 Stargate Atlantis, just as good as SG-1 Wednesday, April 18, 2007 A Viewer from Seymour, Indiana
Stargate Atlantis may be a spin-off of SG-1, but its a great show in its own right. Season 2 picks up right where Season 1 ended, and the action doesn't stop for a moment. We see some old characters go their own way, and we meet a few new ones, and the war with the Wraith takes an unexpected turn. All in all, it was an awesome season, and I'm looking forward to season 3! Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Better Than SG1 Now. Friday, March 23, 2007 Byron from St. Petersburg, FL
This is by far my favorite show on sci-fi channel. I loved SG1 for a long time but this is better... But not as good as Farscape. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Review of Stargate Atlantis series. Friday, March 23, 2007 Michael D Kulbicki from Rogersville, Missouri
This is an excellent series, almost as good as Stargate SG-1. It certainly gives it good run for the money. Buy.com is one of my favorite Internet merchants. I've been buying from them for years, and plan to continue doing so. Was this review helpful?
