Sounds great with my Sansa E200. Ear plugs go in just fine & do not fall out. There are no sounds due to vibration or movement of the wires connecting the plugs. 5 thumbs up. Was this review helpful?

The Sony MDR-ED21LP Ear Bud Headphones are an excellent value for the money. I did a great deal of research on ear bud headphones for my mp3 player and these headphones are clearly one of the best values on the market.
Pros: lightweight, fit well in the ear, isolate sound well, price.
Cons: a bit shallow in the midrange and high end tones, good bass response, a bit uncomfortable to start.
Other thoughts: these are not headphones for an audiophile, but they are good for most listening esperiences. Was this review helpful?

good sound for the price. most of the reviews i read before i picked these were good. they're not the most comfortable and they don't seem as well made as higher end sony headphones i've had in the past but i guess that's to be expected due to the lower price. like i said, the price was right. I've been using this particular model for many years now. I've tried a number of others during this time and nothing else compares in this price range. These critters are very durable, a pair should last you at least a year-and-a-half probably two years in even the harshest conditions, and have a great range of crisp highs and deep bass. When I first started using them I was amazed at how much better my favorite songs sounded; there were so many notes that I hadn't been hearing before. They made me fall in love with music all over again.
The fit is great because unlike most ear buds, they don't constantly feel like they're going to fall out of your ears. Eventhough the nub goes into the ear canal it's plenty comfortable for hours and hours of straight use.
If Sony ever decides to stop making the MDR-ED21LP it will be a sad, sad day. Was this review helpful?

Great ear buds. 2nd set, 1st set went 5yrs. I feel that the sound quality is excellent and the fit is comfortable.
