These headphones are like nothing I've tried before. Have to adjust the equilizer for them, they are different than what you have. Got to try them, they are something else. Keep a fresh battery in em or they won't be the same. Was this review helpful?

I was particularly impressed with these headphones. Good clear sound and excellent bass even before the vibrating subwoofer is activated. The woofer is the real reason for buying this model and it does not disappoint if you are a fan of bass heavy music. These skullcrushers were not as gimmicky as I thought. They enhanced the songs admirably. They do not get as loud as other headphones (it maybe best to adjust the volume of player to maximum) but the closed ear design does not require them to. The price is what sealed the deal. These are barnone the best headphones I have ever bought. Was this review helpful?

These are a great set of padded headphones for the cost. The sound is exceptional and they are comfortable to wear. The bass sounds great with the subwooofer, the only problem being that if you do not turn the subwoofer on, you will get almost no bass out of these headphones. They also come with adapters for different audio jacks making these great if you want to plug them into an amp for playing your guitar or listen to the stereo without disturbing anyone. I'm Very satisfied with these headphones. Referring to some of the other reviews, I’ve seen cheaper plastic on SONY Headphones found at a local Target store, as well as a higher price ($60), and you could hardly feel any bass let alone vibration. Also you can’t expect these or any headphones to adapt to an extreme high volume of sound with so much bass and NOT distort one bit, remember these aren’t speakers they’re headphones… Anyway; THESE Headphones are definitely worth your buck, and you can’t get headphones like this at the local store, and definitely not with this low price and they’re so nice looking so many people just gave me compliments on the looks of them let alone the sound and feel. Put some of these on your head and feel your smile grow as you literally feel your favorite Bass heavy songs vibrating through your head like you’ve never felt from any other headphones. AMAZING! Just had the "Skull Crusher"delvered to my door for $40.00. Congratulations to
the producers of this great product. Quality construction, very comfortable fit and the best sounds! I have paid almost 10 times as much and not received the same quality! I am hearing things in the music I never heard before! What a great cost versus value move! It made my Christmas! I am now trying to think of friends I can send this beauty to!

got a pair of these for my husband and now both of my son's and my brother all want them and say they can never listen to "regular" headphones again! I am definately going to be giving these out for christmas presents this year!! Maybe santa will bring me a pair too!!! These things are a definate break through in portable listening! I had a pair of headphones with a subwoofer from another company about 2 years ago. They worked rather well but broke quickly after using them, I got a replacement pair and they broke as well. These Skullcrushers perform superbly and seem to be holding up much better (fingers crossed).
If you want to have thunder rumbling inside your head then these phones are for you. They look stylish in a skateboardin' kind of way and the subwoofer brings bass to a new level for the end-user. For portable devices (such as my iPod) there are no substitutes. I am also looking forward to experiencing my Home Theatre and some DVD's with these babies. But before I do that I am going to finish DOOM3 while I freak out wearing these headphones. They simply rock. Was this review helpful?

The new "Crushers" by Skullcandy are the most mind numbing headphones i've ever placed on my head!Great sounding and appropriately named.Wonderful for any type of music and/or sound effects.The headphones fold-up,which is a great feature if you travel and they are comfortable to wear for long periods of time.I'm not easily impressed,but the "Crushers" have impressed me!
