Headphones are not very stylish, but other than that everything is above par. Sound quality is superb, it fits well and very comfortable for long duration. It has little bit of noise cancellation also, which makes listening to music even more fun. Build looks solid too. Overall, money well invested :) Was this review helpful?

Clarity is amazing. With my previous pair of headphones, I had to crank the volume on those and the player all of the way up for likeable audio levels, with these I have to set the volume of the players to a little over half or the audio is too loud! The headphones have no volume control built in them. Part of the clarity is due to some noise-canceling which is awesome, didn't expect that at all for this price. The headphones are light and stylish, after awhile you may forget they're still on they are that comfortable. Great headphones, awesome price. Another high quality product from Sennheiser. For the price, these are great headphones. They block out some sound since they are sealed for the most-part, and their sound quality is excellent. The bass response is also very good on these. Also, the headphones fit over one's ears fairly well, but if one has larger ears they should not expect to have them fully covered by these. But even with the ears not fully covered, they still do a good job of sealing out some sound and providing an excellent listening experience. Was this review helpful?

I bought these for work in an office cubicle environment to block out the noise so I can work in peace. I've been extremely impressed with the sound trebles are high and tight, bass is a tad bit overpronounced and can be muddy especially in songs that are already bass heavy (my 4 on performance). They do fatigue a bit on your ears when you wear them for over an hour, however I have fairly large head & ears, my ears barely fit inside which probably leads to my early fatigue problems (why I gave it a 3 for ease of use) -YMMV. They block out a TON of outside noise and even at low volumes I can barely hear anything going on around me - Exactly what I was looking for! Overall I would not hesitate to recommend them (and have to many of my coworkers). Was this review helpful?

I have been looking for some Sennheiser headphones for a while, and
I decided to invest in the HD555s. After purchasing the HD555s, I decided that I wanted some sealed headphones as an alternative to the open aire ones. I bought these and man, am I satisifed...so far these are the best headphones that I have ever heard, outdoing my brother's Sony headphones ($199 retail) by far. The bass is clear and crisp, the mids are smooth, and the highs are perfectly balanced and not too bright. Though some people don't like the "mid size" headphones, these are not too small- the cups cover my ears completely and feel great. For $20, these are the best headphones available. Now I will have to wait for my HD555s and see which pair is best! Was this review helpful?

For US$20, these phones are one of the best buys I have ever made. I bought these headphones to replace a pair of Sony earbuds. Thought I'd give closed headphones a try. The sound quality is excellent! Good bass, and very clear highs. It is very comfortable to use. You do have to take it off after a couple of hours to wipe sweat build-up, but you can put it back on again as these are very light headphones. I will be buying a second pair for use in the office as this cancels external noise quite effectively too.
I highly recommend this product for people looking for good sound, at a low cost. Was this review helpful?
