5 of 5 Perfect... Thursday, April 02, 2009 A Customer from Beaumont, TX
I don't care for the U3 stuff, but the large storage capacity and the cool slide with no cap to lose is really nice. They put a little more thought into the design of this one than many companies are doing. It isn't an afterthought, rather more of a centerpiece. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Pretty much what I wanted Wednesday, April 01, 2009 Frank Paris from Beaverton, OR
I needed a big thumb drive for holding thousands of digital photographs that I could move around to various computers. This does the job for me. The only thing I noticed is that these drives are still much slower than hard disks. Writing hard disk to hard disk is five times faster than writing hard disk to this thumb drive. 5 of 5 Exactly what I wanted in a USB drive!!! Friday, December 05, 2008 A Customer from Miami, Fl.
This one has it all! U3, ready boost, cap less, rugged, sleek & elegant, and not to mention a WHOPPING 16GB of storage!!! I've had it for a couple weeks now and it has not given me any problems. I'd say... DEFINITELY WORTH IT. Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 Inconsistent performance across devices but great Monday, December 01, 2008 A Customer from Overland Park, KS
Bought two 16GB devices at the same time and one was markedly slower than the other with the same activity and data. Returning the slow one to Buy.com for exchange (hopefully). Both are much faster than non-Extreme models, however, finally becoming a more viable backup solution for me. Still wish they were faster, but maybe that is due USB 2.0 limitations. 5 of 5 16GB Cruzer Contour Tuesday, October 21, 2008 jimspencer7 from Houston, Texas
I have several Cruzer Titanium drives and they are great. I now have this Contour 16GB and so far it is superb in performance and value. I would buy another in a heartbeat. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 It does what its supposed to do. Saturday, October 18, 2008 Fernandojsmail from Greenacres, Fl
I bought the SanDisk 16GB Cruzer Contour at about $50 on sale so the price was the best specially when the Sandisk was selling it on their website for $99. On my old computer it worked very slow but i was moving about 10 gigs worth of information at a time. On my newer Vista computer it was done in a flash i moved some 13 gigs from my old computer to my new computer in about 10 minutes. Very stylish. Carrying it is the only down side, it is a larger flash drive and the only way to carry it is on a pouch on a key chain which makes it considerably larger. about as long and thick as a finger and twice as wide. Also it doesnt fit on front usb port of my old computer so i have to plug it in back; but fits just fine in the other four computers i have used it with. I am extremely happy with my purchase. Good to carry around music, movies, and important files. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Fast, Huge Capacity, and U3 make it super awesome! Wednesday, October 15, 2008 buy.com girl from College Station, TX
This is a stylish flash drive with huge capacity. You can't go wrong with this one. I don't know what the transfer rate is but I notice that it is really fast. I have many huge files that are 1GB+ each and this little guy has no problem uploading or downloading the items at all. It takes few seconds. In addition, you will never lose your cap ever again, thank to the capless design. It is so easy to use with only one hand. The sliding needs few minutes to learn how it works and get used to it. On the top of that, U3 is the unexpected feature that I fell in love right away. I am addicted to skype to get connected with my husband oversea but it causes some problem when I need to use public computers at school and they don't allow any program installment. This U3 with preloaded skype (and few others) feature gives you an instant skype program (an outdated version, though) so you will always get connected with the love ones :).

5 of 5 Fast, no cap to loose! and rugged Monday, October 13, 2008 MR2Fast from Lake Stevens, WA
Great drive very fast read and great write speed for a USB drive. Love the no cap design although it was a bit stiff when new it is getting easier to open and close after a few weeks. Haven't used the software that came with it but just for transferring files between PC's its great. I also put some MP3's on it and play them on my car stereo (front USB port) directly and its cool with the large size... can you say road trip! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Fast and Easy Monday, October 13, 2008 A Customer from Fontana CA
Bought this to replace a 4gb flash drive I already filled. I was amazed how much faster this one was compared to the old one. Would highly recommend, it's reliable, no problems as of yet, and very easy to use. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent product ... Monday, October 13, 2008 A Customer from Brentwood, NY
I bought this baby over two weeks ago and unlike other brands
I used in the past this one has been working flawlessly. No data loss or read errors.
The one feature I find extremely useful given the fact that I write my own programs is the U3 program launcher technology. It allows my to carry my applications and start them up without having to re-install them when I switch computers.
Having 16GB of storage is a great relief when carrying large files. I can carry 3 DVD quality movies and still have plenty of space for my other files.
Sandisk has done a great job again.
P.S. Also, the data encryption feature keeps your data safe from praying eyes if your drive is lost or stolen. Was this review helpful?
