1 of 5 High Pitch Noise when reading recorded disc's Wednesday, September 12, 2007 A Customer from Mesa AZ
Nice unit, but mine has a terrible squeal/noise when reading recorded disc's (Verbatim +R Single layer and DL, both have this issue). Noise is not heard with my other players. No noise when using original movie disc's. Replaced unit with different brand name. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Very good DVD/VCR recorder and player Saturday, February 10, 2007 Ron M. from Darlington, SC
I found this Samsung DVDVR345 very easy to use and performs very well recording and playing. I will recomend this product as a must buy if looking for an upgraded DVD/VCR combo. It also was recieved in the time frame that Buy.com implicated. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 The Samsung DVD-VR345 seems refined Thursday, December 21, 2006 bob.lowe from Clearfield, UT
I've just recently purchased my Samsung DVD-VR345. However, I've recorded three dvds (all dvd-r) and found the process relatively simple, and the results excellent. Since I'm not an electronics guru that's a minor accomplishment for me. While the systems long term reliability remains to be established, I've had great experiences with my previous Samsung purchases. Was this review helpful?

Great DVD/VCR player recorder, and the price was right. What more could you ask for? Was this review helpful?

The Samsung DVD-VR345 recorder has great features. It records beautifully from over the air antenna--the images were sharp and clear and a pleasure to view. However, we could not get the Dish Network Satellite to work with it because none of the available Samsung codes were recognized by the satellite receiver. We cannot tell how the recorder would work if it recognized Dish Network's Satellite signals. Was this review helpful?
