We bought two of these speaker docks for our daughters who were getting 4th gen ipod nanos for Christmas. The description online and on the box says it will charge the ipods while in the docks. Not true. This was a disappointment because it was actually a selling point for me. Otherwise the sound quality is really quite good.

I wanted something that would be easy to use in my office since the computer network prevents downloading of iTunes. This delivers. It doesn't produce incredible sound, but it's good for my office and it's easy to grab and take home, on the road, etc. I got it incredibly cheap during a sale on buy.com.

The speakers work great. The Adapter Guide listing is missing most newer (1-2 years old) iPods, so you have to guess which adapter to use. A remote would have been nice to have, I didn't notice that it didn't come with one. Also, a MAJOR disappointment is that, while the storage bag for the speaker is VERY nice, it does NOT hold the power adapter. I like to travel with it, so the lack of storage for the power adapter is a big problem. They get separated very easily.

This iPod dock is perfect. I'm using it with my new iPod Touch. It comes with lots of adapters to fit any iPod model. The sound is great, the design is great, it's small and lightweight - just what I wanted. I'm sure you'll be very happy if you decide to buy one.

Don't let the size fool you. It has great sound. Polk speakers always sound great and this is no exception. Can't beat the price!!

Bought this with the hopes of leaving it in my locker at work, so I can continue hearing music that was playing in my iPod as I was riding my bike to work. Works great for that. Attractive and compact. Nice sound, for its size. Actually used it at home first to check it out, and was impressed, though again, considering its small size. No rechargeable battery, but takes 4 AAs or included AC adapter. AAs fine for me because I'll use it for short spells, a few times per week. Ridiculously cheap on this website (at the time that I bought it).

I bought these speakers so that I could take my iPod into my shop or out in the garage. I was really quite pleased with the sound quality. Polk has always been a very high end brand in my opinion. The sale price of this product made it most enticing. I am not sure I would have paid full retail for it though. The sound is very whole, the mid ranges are good the highs are accurate, but the bass, while present, is a bit lacking- this is somewhat expected due to the size. But with only 4 AA batteries in the unit, it really packs a whallop- decent, clear, crisp, near room filling sound. Great value if you can get it on sale. While not noted in the listing, it does work with my 80Gig iPod Classic. It also has an aux input jack on the back in the form of a mini phono jack. And can also be plugged in via the supplied power supply cord when batteries are not being used. Also comes with a very nice canvas carry case.

If I had an Ipod, I would buy this for myself. My brother loves it. The speakers sound great, ultra portable, and will charge your device while it is playing. Great buy.
