I bought this with the purpose of using it with the game, LittleBigPlanet, and it does a great job for capturing pictures and adding it within your created levels. As a video chat/microphone, it does an adequate job. As many have mentioned below, depending on your internet connection, at times the video chat picture quality can be a bit pixelated. But that also depends on if you have other computers using the bandwidth on your connection. Sound quality wise, it does a great job. There are games avalable on the Playstation Network that are solely for use with the EyeCamera.
I'm glad I made this purchase here, especially for the lowest price. It's the same EyeCamera you see in all of the stores. What you don't see in the other stores is the low price you can get it for here. Shipping did take about a week. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase and service. Was this review helpful?

Huge resounding YES.. I love this thing, it gives a whole new depth to the PS3. Making it much more interactive, not just the controller tilt etc. I like it very much, it was easy to install and just works. The games are fun and challenging, and Aquatopia is just well.. fun.
Some say this is Sony's attempt to get some of the Wii crowd. It feels different, and isn't at all the same as far as functionality. However the end result is a great expansion in depth of gaming.. Thanks Sony.
