I bought this partially just to see how it connects to the slim since it's not obvious from the picture. It actually connects the same way that the official one does through the first controller and memory card port. The connector folds up nicely underneath the unit when not in use. Doubles the height of your PS2 slim. Looks clean. Good solution for 4+ player games.
