I have been playing Uncharted Drake's Fortune and controller makes use of the Sixxaxis and the rumble features at the same time! Didn't know the controller would do that. Familiar feel of the other controllers with more heft, definitely more comfortable than previous model. If you were considering whether to buy one or not stop considering no substitute for the Sony. Great controller, ordered one a few days before MGS 4 came out and it arrived the same day MGS4 came out. The rumble is great and I am so used to playing with rumble. The controller's charge seems to last a long time(about 25 hours a charge). Best thing about it is I can recharge the controller, no need to buy batteries. Was this review helpful?

When the original "Sixaxis" Playstation 3 controller was announced, and it was revealed that it would not support vibration feedback, I was disappointed to say the least. For a console that had so much other advanced hardware, and introduced vibration feedback with their original Playstation DualShock controller, this seemed like a major step back. Even if the new controller supported tilt detection, it still lacked the immersion offered by rumble-enabled controllers. Well, Sony has finally remedied this problem, and I am pleased to report that the controller performs flawlessly, offering quality vibration while retaining its tilt capabilities. Games that support vibration feedback (older titles generally require a patch) greatly benefit with the use of the DualShock 3. I am pleased to report that the controller met or succeeded all my expectations, and I would recommend it to any PS3 owner. The only negative I can think of is that fact that the controller does not come with a USB charging cable, but one comes with the PS3 system so you shouldn't have any problems charging it. If for some reason you do not have such a cable, rest assured that it is a very common cable (Mini USB) and easy to find at a local electronics store. Also, with the Google Checkout discount and free shipping, Buy.com has the best price around, so don't hesitate - get it now! Was this review helpful?

The rumble is back again. The controller is slightly heaver than the Sixaxis but the weight feels more like it should instead of the paper-light Sixaxis. The battery life is great, 300 mAh battery vs. the Sixaxis 30 mAh. This is a must buy for PS3 owners. Was this review helpful?
