Plantronics Discovery 610 Bluetooth Headset - Recertified by Plantronics - DISCOVERY610R

Had three other bluetooths prior to this. Was concerned about the product as reconditioned. My concerns were invalid. Great value product works great! Several reviews pointed out problems that I did not experience. The ear bud works great for me...no slippage or falling out. I do not use the extra support that is made to wrap over your ear. Very little feedback or echo. The size and shape work great. Excellent value for the price!

I have purchased several Bluetooth units in the past. None seemed to fit my ear. This unit shipped with three different size ear molds and with the light ear hook fit comfortably. I have paired this with my iPhone and Macbook pro (for VOIP calling) and it works well. I am extremely pleased with it.

This was the first hands free device I purchased and it has worked great right from the get go. Easy to connect and the hearing is great. The price was what made go with the referb. so Don't be afraid it works great.

Small lightweight unit fits comfortably in your ear so there is no need to use the provided support wire. Sound quality far exceeds the low price. Battery life is excellent and the range is good. You can't go wrong with this little gem.

I order this Plantronics wireless headset as a refurbished product. So far, it has exceeded my expectation. Good battery life, good sound quality and very comfortable soft rubber for ear insert. All of this for a very affordable price.

It's a good product, at a very good price. No problems with it so far. UPS-MI is the worst method of shipping ever, it takes way too long, but again, for that price and without having to pay a dime for shipping, Buy.com makes a good job again.

This was my first blue tooth and the value and performance were excellent. The only complaint I had was at times, the person I was talking with would tell me it was very loud. Besides that, I have no complaints.

Unique product with the soft plastic interchangeable earpieces. Allows tailoring to a smaller than average ear canal. This unit fits and is comfortable where most aren't. As a refurb, this is one of the most inexpensive units available. I was expecting to get something cheaply made with ok performance. Instead it fits fantastically, sounds great, is barely noticeable worn. I could not imagine what else I could want in a unit.

I have used this product every day for about a month now. Before I bought this, I had just lost my $80 Motorola headset (H700). This $20 headset is as good or better than the H700. I am very picky so it is seldom that I like a product this much. Very easy to pair to phone - I use it with an iPhone and a Blackberry Curve. Charges quickly, lasts at least all day. The lightest headset I've ever owned, I forget I am wearing it. Sounds great, others have never complained about how I sounded to them. Easy to use, the LED is easy to see and understand what it means. Can't go wrong with Plantronics, they have been making telecom stuff for many years.

If your worried about a recertified product don't be. This is my second plantronics bluetooth. I had one of the first to come out,and I gave it to a friend. This one is a step up from my original.Great distance and holds a charge up to a week.Set your phone to auto answer and just hit the button once to hang up.Great product and easy to use.

I purchased this bluetooth refurbished and been using it for a little over a month and its been great, the battery life is better than expected, the clarity is very good most of the time and switching ears is a breeze with a twist of the provided gel-formed pieces however the comfort is less than the motorola ear hook type because of the gel-formed piece that must be shoved into your ear. The only other thing is that the gel formed ear pieces have small tabs that can easily break off making them useless.

at $20 for the refurb unit, its great. Fits well and mostly stays put without the hook when driving. It won't stay on without the hook if you run or jog and it cannot handle wind noise. Best for driving hands free and battery time is great.

This headset works great and is so light I don't even use the ear support. Sometimes I forget it is there. The sound is great due to the shape of the ear piece. Very happy.

this is a fine headset, nice and small and inconspicuous. The one complaint I have is that it tends to feel like it's about to fall out (and sometimes does). I'm using it without the earhook, since that's why I bought it, so I'd like it to feel a bit more secure.

Have used it for about a week. Sound clarity is good. No complaints as well from the receiving end of the call as well. Ear gels are very comfortable. Battery life is as reported. Would buy again.

Bought two of these for relatives. Idea was to use in car to keep hands off phone. PROS: Nice size. Nice clean look. Quite light. Fits well in ear (stabilizer not needed). Controls handy with positive feel. Easy to hear. Mic is clear also. CONS: Advertised as: "If your cell phone supports last number redial and voice activated dialing—so do we." Supports maybe, but you can't complete voice activated dialing with the "Motorola RAZR V3m" (a very popular phone!) from just the button on the earpiece. Voice dialing needs to be started with usual exterior button on phone but will not complete with button on earpiece. It seems to start, makes tones, but does not continue on to allow voice dialing. Just an empty air sound. You can do the "work-around" by starting the voice dialing process with the button on the phone but that sort of defeats the purpose of "hands free dialing". Both units I purchased work the same way so it is a feature problem, not the particular unit. So far (one week of use) all else is as expected.

I am very pleased by this new Plantronics headset. This is my 4th Plantronics headset over the last 6 years. I have about 10 headsets total, but i really only use the Plantronics. They are simply the best!!!

I purchased this bluetooth earpiece to replace my previous Motorola bluetooth that I had been having problems with. The Plantronics Bluetooth headset exceeded my expectations. It paired quite easily, gave nice volume so I could hear my conversation unlike my Motorola, and was a bargain for the price. The only drawbacks I see are the fact that you cannot turn off the blinking lights and that the on/off button requires a bit of pressure to make it work, but other than that, it's worth every penny and I would recommend it to anyone.

After becoming frustrated with my Jawbone (seems like everything was breaking on it- ear hooks and tips aren't build very well) I decided to go back to a Plantronic. I had read many good things about the 610 and at $14.99 I figured I could not go wrong. This bluetooth is great! It is crystal clear, has a long talk/standby time and the battery charger is a great plus! Thank you Plantronics!

although this is a recertified headset (and it does say "Recertified" on the headset under the S/N) it looks and functions as brand new. It's extremely comfortable and secure to wear. I don't think i could go jogging wearing this thing, but it stays very secure in your ear. The talk time is about right at 5 hours (though depends how long it's been in standby). My biggest complaint would be the same i have with just about every other plantronics headset, which is the range. When you are more than 10 ft away from the phone, you start to notice static. However, i bought this for use in the car, as i drive through several "hands-free only" zones on my daily commute. other than that, i feel like a complete D-Bag walking around with a bluetooth hanging off my ear.

I have another Plantronics bluetooth, and my family wanted one for Christmas. With the recertified price I was able to buy one for three people. They liked them so much that I bought another for myself plus one for a back-up. They are easy to use, and I forget I have it on. I would definitely recommend this.

Great Bluetooth set for great price & sound quality. As earpiece speaker is inside of ear you hear clear & load. Much better than my old Motorola set I had. Now I hear caller perfect over car and road noise.

I own the Plantronics Voyager 510 and I have been very happy with it, so when I saw this re-certified Plantronics Discovery 610 bluetooth headset for such a fantastic price, I decided to get one for my wife. I easily paired the headset with her phone and tried it out. Voice clarity was excellent on both ends of the conversation, and the headset was extremely comfortable with an excellent fit. I used the optional ear stabilizer piece that comes with the headset, but it seems that it would be quite stable without it as well. I was so impressed with this headset that I ordered another one for myself!

This is the third bluetooth that I have used. This one is very light weight and convenient to use since I don't need the ear loop. It has very good reception and connects quickly with my Treo 680. Documentation was a bit limited, although you really don't need much. I'm not sure, however, when it needs to be recharged since that was not mentioned in the users manual. I have had it for a month and so far so good.

I've had two wired and one other bluetooth headset. None of them had the quality of sound this one does. Maybe because it channels the speaker right into your ear canal. I can finally hear my caller over car and road noise. The one down side I found so far is that I can't get voice recognition activation to transfer from my phone to the headset properly. I work around this by using the voice activation button on the phone instead of the button on the headset. Otherwise I would have rated it 5/5 for all categories.
