All went well after I determined the correct mounting height. Was mounting to a brick fireplace wall, above the mantel. The mantel will help reduce the heat level when we have a fire in the fireplace. Had to purchase 4- 1/4 inch bolts and carbon tipped drill, drilled four hole into the brick not the grout between the bricks. You may want to purchase two drills, I had to sharpen mine to do the other two holes. The 52" Samsung LCD TV is up and working. The wires at the back at very tight to the wall but should be okay. After you select the tilt you want be sure to lock it with the screw provided on the mount. Also, lock the wall mount to the TV mount by tightening the bolts on the wall mount from the bottom, this is a must or someone will lift the TV and it will fall off the wall mount. The long allen wrench is a must, do not lose this if you ever want to take the TV off the wall. Sorry for all the words, but this is a Great piece of hardware and I would buy it again.

This works as advertised and is easy to install. Find your studs, mount the rear bracket, put the brackets on the TV, lift/hang the TF on the rear bracket and you're all set. While I am very happy with this product and would buy it again for another TV if I had one, there were a few things to note: Product says up to 12" horizontal adjustment. This is 12" total. Depending on the size of your TV, and where the wall bracket is placed, you might only have 6" adjustment one way or the other (as is my case, because I was able to center the wall bracket on the studs), or 2" one way and 10" the other, etc.. Mine came with security screws for securing the TV brackets to the wall mount (torx with a pin in the middle). Fortunately it also came with a tool that works with them. Be sure not to lose the tool ;-). Even if you have one, you likely don't have one that is ~1.5 ft. long, and you need that for this. When I first looked at the items in the box something didn't seem right as the back brackets didn't pivot. I though one of the pins needed to be removed from them thought there was nothing in the instructions about this. I called the 800 number and was told none of the pins need to be removed. The unit is pre-tensioned to pivot only under the weight of the TV. If you put the bracket on the ground and stand on it, you'll see it functions just fine. Most of my connections are on the bottom, left, rear of the TV. The 5 degrees of back tilt allows access to the connectors, but it is still tight and I have to do some cable installs by feel rather than by sight. Still, it is easy enought to attach all connectors and then lift the TV onto the mounting bracket. Tightening the friction fit for arbitrary angle is a bit tricky. You can tighen about 1/2 a turn, then have to pull out the spring loaded head of the tightener, turn it back 1/2 a turn, re-engage it, and then tighten another 1/2 a turn. I ended up just using the 0-degree setting and tightening the tilt lock.

Great mount for its price, did its job and nothings gone wrong. I had a little trouble figuring out what to do at first and the instructions were a little tricky but they give you everything you needed. Would recommend this mount to all my friends.

Mount arrived in less than 5 days. Basic kit included everything needed to mount a Philips 50" Plasma. Kit was easy to install and works great. The only drawback is the tilt takes some effort to change, but kit includes the necessary tool to do it. I would certainly buy this mount again and have recommended this to friends looking for a wall mount.

Easy to hang, stong and adjustable and you cannot even see the mount. Best of all the price. Delivery was in 3 days. This is my third wall mount and my second mount from Peerless.

Pros: Easy to follow instuctions. Installed in about 30 minutes. Holds 46" LCD TV with no problems. Cons: Screws to attach the tilting brackets to the back of TV on one side were too long. Summary: Even with the slight screw problem, this is still a great product. The solution I came up with for the screw length problem was had to triple the washers on one hole and use a shorter screw (taken from the additional supplies) for the other to make work. Not sure if this is a TV manufacturer problem or a Peerless problem. Tested with some slight pulls and it's very sturdy.

I received my Peerless mount in less than the 5-7 days stated for non-expedited shipping. It was easy to install and I am completely satisfied with the product. I will admit I was concerned that I did not receive wahat I ordered because the product was different than the one pictured on the ordering product image. I ordered the ST650 but was sent the ST660 which is what the review is based on. Comparing the product summary on each this seems to be an upgrade. Your service has been exceptional.

The Peerless ST660 Universal Tilting Wall Mountis is a great product. It came complete with a hardware kit designed to fit many LCD TVs. It came with good instructions, and was was easy to install. Compared to other tilting mounts we looked at, it is a great value. Happy and satisfied customer.

It works perfect for my 50" TV. Easy to install, very easy to hang the TV with this design. And it was $100 cheaper then my local Big Box electronics retailer.

Free shipping that arrived in 2 days. Sturdy. Very easy to mount to the wall. The most tedious part was the safety feature screw. Just screwing them took me longer than the whole job.

I had purchased this at the same time as my TV which was a 52" Philips LCD HDTV weighing about 90 lbs. The instructions were simple to follow and attaching all the necessary screws and brackets were easy as well. The only difficult part that I found when mounting this TV was finding the actual studs which of course should usually be 16"-24" apart. Since the plate is 32" in length you should be able to screw the plate onto the wall using 3 studs instead of 2. An obstacle that I encountered was that even though the plate was about 32" in length the 3rd stud was an inch or two further away from my intended point on the plate. The number of studs you may want to use is just a personal preference. If you feel safer using 3, then try your best to but with this mount you may need an extra attachment to extend the plate for the 3rd stud. The tilt feature is a bonus if you are mounting it at a higher viewing angle. Tilting is not necessary if you have a huge screen, smaller screens seem to use this feature more frequently. The instructions also comes with a list of possible TVs that you could use this as well as the exact kinds of screws to attach the brackets for that particular TV. Overall a solid product!

This is the best wall mount I have seen. I ended up purchasing 2 of them. Easy to install on the wall and on the back of the TV. Wall Mount allows unit to slide left to right for Perfect Center. On handed tilt also. Complete with all hardware. Nothing needed to buy. Best value also.

This bracket is easy to install, special tools included. You will need an extra person to help put the TV on the bracket. I have this setup in my bedroom on the wall's highest point and tilted the TV all the way down. Can finally see my favorite shows from my bed with no strain. Well worth the cost and effort.

I purchased this mounting bracket for a Samsung 46" flat screen. It was very easy to install and had many different bolts for attaching to almost any TV. I just bolted it into the studs in the wall, attached 4 bolts to the TV and hung it right on the wall. I would definitely recommend this mounting bracket.

I decided on this mount after looking at a number of mounts and prices. This had the most features for the price. It came with enough screws, spacers and washers to mount a hundred different kinds of TV's and had clear instructions on what hardware you need for your TV. A very high quality , heavy duty product. I think "One Touch" tilt is a little optimistic, but if you grab the TV with two hands you can tilt it up and down without a problem with no tools. I have a 42" plasma mounted to it and it's only at 1/2 its rated capacity.

The mount is built very well and of high-quality materials. All pieces are made of very sturdy metal and are more than capable of holding a flat panel of the size the mount is intended for. The mount was very easy to install and adjust.
