We ordered this bracket to hold a VCR and DVD player mounted below our 42" LCD TV on a knotty pine wall. It keeps the units off the floor (we have it mounted low on our wall), and it's unobtrusive, especially when the TV is tilted and swiveled just above the units. It was easy to install, and took about 30 minutes. We also did strap our units to the brackets since they are knee height. We liked the adjustable sliding brackets so we could bring them to only the depth we needed, instead of a fixed shelf that may have been way larger than necessary. Also, no dusting of a shelf is involved! Everyday tools were required, along with a level. We like it and the price was right. Was this review helpful?

Although we made this item work in the intended function, it is made for a microwave or kitchen appliance. It's big, thick and somewhat awkward looking. Yes--it works to hold the DVD player, but this is really not meant for this. Was this review helpful?

I purchased this wall mount for my entertainment system. It is marketed as a shelf for wall mounted microwave oven. I used it to mount a VCR, DVD player, and a cable box. The black paint complements all the entertainment components. It also comes with a strap to tie down a microwave oven. I chose not to use it, but instead used Velco fasteners to "tape" each component on top of each other. I looks very stylist and sturdy mounted on the wall below my 37" LCD TV. I paid ($...) with free shipping. I would recommend this product to anyone and in fact, I'm planning to purchase another one if the price remains the same.

After I put my flat panel TV over my fireplace mantel, I needed a place to put my cable box, dvd player and receiver. I decided that I wanted to put them on the wall under the mantel. How was I going to accomplish this? The Peerless wall mount was the answer. It is perfect addition to complete my home theater. I'm glad I chose it.
