Easily installed with included hardware on a cinder block wall sheeted with drywall. Holds TV very close the wall, so you can't have the cable or power outlet directly behind TV. I had to lower the TV a bit so the outlets are showing over the top of the TV. OK tradeoff as I wanted the TV to be as close to the wall as possible. Was this review helpful?

I have been using this mount for over a year and have had no issues with it. It was easy to attach to the wall and holds my 42 inch Westinghouse LCD prefectly. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a cost effective, sturdy tv mount. I agree with the other review about the "lock down" feature. Having a 2 foot allen wrench to reach the nut is not the prefect solution. A simple clamp lock system would have been better. Was this review helpful?

I bought a Sharp Aquos 42" LCD and was looking for a mount. It took me weeks to find a mount because I could not believe how expensive LCD mounts are (e.g., over $100 at least for anything that supports 40 or 50-inch flat screens). Anyway, through Buy.com I found this Peerless brand mount and was shocked to see that it only cost 1/3 of what I have seen in stores. Anyway, I took the risk and was really impressed with the quality, and ease of installation. It also came with all the types of screws/hardware you will need. I wasn't sure about getting a tilt or flat mount. I opted for the flat because I wanted my Syntax Olevia LT26HVX to be as close to the wall as possible. If you share the same idea, then by all means go with this mount. It is sleek, flexible, and super easy to install. Syntax did a great job allowing the two vertical legs to be moved about 7 inches on either direction; it comes really useful when trying to place your flat screen right on the center of the wall. So if you have no need for a tilt mount and have a flat screen no bigger than 46", then this is the mount to go with. Customer service was excellent, knowledgeable and friendly.
