This frame works as advertised, at least for the things i tried, which is displaying slide show of jpegs using an SD card.
very easy to use.
However, i was extremely disappointed with the size. I bought it on the premise that it was a 5 by 7 frame.
While the frame itself measures 5 by 7, the screen area of the frame is barely 3.5 by 4.5.
In other words, do not expect to put this on an end-table and be able to see pictures from the end of the couch... this would work if you put it on your desk next to your computer screen. Was this review helpful?

Received Pacific Digital Memory Frame PV1 and set-up/installation was easy.
Checked with USB/Flash Drive, MMC/SD Cards and it works
great.
Interfaced with TV and works well.
Performance is better with Slide shows than individual photos.
( Because of USB 1.1 ? )
It is light, portable and AC adapter is 110-240 Volts and hence
it is truly global and can be used in any part of the World.

I ran across this item while shopping for a standard memory frame to display family photos. I ended up buying it as a gift for my daughter that has recently left home for college. I loaded a small video of the whole family saying "We miss you" and waving! I have to say, she was absolutley blown away. She has had more fun loading pictures from her phone and digital camera than you would believe. All of her friends want one and people go to her dorm room just to see it, or see themselves on it!!
The display quality is great. I was really impressed; and I wasn't even using a very good DVR. I'm sure it would really be stunning with a high quality video. You can't beat it for the price. And for the younger generation, this sleek design is a lot better than the traditional frames, plus of course, most of the standard memory frames don't support video. I'm sure we will be buying a few more of these this year as gifts. You can't go wrong!
