I love how this sits on my lap because how wide it is. I own the TE Edition and the Standard Edition sticks. The standard edition is not as wide as this so when I place it on my lap the edges of the stick sit right in the center of my thighs causing a slight pain over time. This stick is wide enough that it doesn't do that. This also comes with the Sanwa joysticks and buttons which in my opinion makes it a bit more responsive then the joy stick that comes with the Standard Edition stick. I also love how there is a front compartment to store the cable so it's easy to put away. I will say this though I like the art on the Standard Edition stick much better. Was this review helpful?

well worth the $$$ but if possible, don't over pay for this awesome stick. I guess just believe in Buy.com. The packaging and FightStick is truly a work of art. Now I can play SF4 the way its meant to be play. I own many arcade sticks and this is by FAR the best one money can buy.
Even though Buy.com says its "Temporarily Sold Out", I placed an order and it was shipped out the same day!! Was this review helpful?

While this is the best commercial joystick I've ever used, I wouldn't spend more than retail on it. I had to find a bat top, adapter, and octagonal restrictor plate (still on order) to make it feel a little more like the arcade sticks I grew up using, so you might want to budget another $15 for those if you don't like the square restrictor and ball top. I somehow squeezed the order in right before buy shut it off, but they delivered as soon as they got their next shipment in. Is it worth retail in a bad economy? Probably not, but it's the closest they've ever come to actually being at an arcade. Was this review helpful?
