I was looking for an extra guitar to use as a bass guitar in Rock Band 2 and had read that most of the guitars were interchangable between games. This guitar at Buy.com was the least expensive one I could find so I took a chance that it would work with Rock Band 2. Super fast shipping and great price, and it DOES work with Rock Band 2! I do prefer the original Rock Band guitar overall, as I believe the fret buttons on this one are a little more cumbersome to use, since they are somewhat larger than the one that came with Rock Band. But this is a good guitar for any game, and for the price, you can't beat it.

Got this so my son could also play guitar in Rockband (and I could play a rented Guitar Hero). Son is left handed and the Rockband guitar's buttons are in a spot that falls just under his strum hand and he would always send us to pause. This guitar doesn't have that issue. Fits his smaller hands well, also.
