Excellent Ram for Dell M-170 laptop , installed and recognised instantly, XP Pro wont registar 2 sticks though for 4 gb, the 32 bit operating system only will see 3 gb, not the rams fault. I am using 1 stick and 2 gb is alot faster for games than 1 gb. Buy it while the rebates on , which OCZ already e mailed me that they have recieved and are processing. Was this review helpful?

I bought one stick of this memory for my Sony VGN-NR110E laptop, and upgraded from 1 GB to 2.5 GB. I took one of the preinstalled 512MB out of my laptop and installed this one instead.
Installing it was so easy and the laptop recognized the new memory immediately that I did not even need to change the BIOS settings.
I have had this memory for more than a month and its running flawlessly.
In the beginning I thought that PC5400 is something different that it would not run on my PC5300 compatible laptop, but after doing a little research I found that they are the same.
Now I can run as many programs as I want at the same time without a problem (with the Vista Aero theme).
Overall great deal ($30 After Rebate) and super fast shipping. Thanks Buy.com for the great service.

I purchased two of the 2GB DIMMs for my new laptop to take the total memory up to 4GB. Unfortunately, the computer freaked when I replaced both DIMMS, so I ended up only using one, but am still happy with 3GB. Luckily I was able to use the other in my wife's laptop and brought her up to 3GB as well. Just beware that replacing two will result in issues. Was this review helpful?

I received the package in 2 days. Unbelievably fast.
The RAM went into my Dell E1505 with no problems and is recognized. I went from 1gb to 2.5gb and have noticed a huge improvement when running more than one program, and also with internet browsing. 5 stars all around. Was this review helpful?

and Regarding the memory, It works well and it is fast.
ocztechnology.com says that Satellite A135 (945 Chipset) is upgradable for 4GB but when I added 4 GB the laptop doesnt start. I tried removing one 2gb and it worked then I tried the other, that also worked but if I put 4gb the laptop wont start. Please make sure you have done some research before getting your memory upgraded. I have to call oczTech :)

I baught this laptop with 1 GB (2X512mb module) installed memory and I replaced one memory module with This 2 GB module and it works good so far. I don't know why sony says memory upgradable up to only 2 GB...i have now 2.5 Gb and it works very well....It improved the performance of my laptop.
