4 of 5 Elegant solution, but beware - only protects scree Tuesday, October 28, 2008 Michael from Jackson, MS
I researched every available case option for my N800 before purchasing this one. As with all mobile device cases, this one had both benefits and drawbacks. On the plus side, it provides adequate protection for the N800 screen while still allowing me to carry the device in my pocket (my preference). It also allows me to use the N800's built-in stand, which was also a plus and as far as I know unique to this case. On the minus side, it provides _no_ protection for the sides of the device in the event it gets dropped (which still makes me a bit nervous). Ultimately, though, I am happy with this case. It meets my needs and looks great (have gotten many comments on the looks and elegance of this solution). Also be warned that the extra magnets included are _not_ adequate to hold the device by themselves in any situation where it is subject to jostling (i.e. can't use them to "stick" it to the car dash). 4 of 5 Good case with good logic Monday, March 31, 2008 arckal from Downers Grove, IL
Its really nice case with high quality leather. The case is neat and clean build, its easy to put on N800 and protect device while device is turned on. There is few flaws like: It does not cover whole device, may that is why its allow to put on stand. I am sure if magnet will harm or disturb the N800. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Disappointment Wednesday, March 12, 2008 Cary from Glasgow, KY
This case, which is an "official" Nokia case, was quite a disappointment. The case is held in place by magnets. In order for it to adhere to your N800 you must place a metal plate (provided) onto the back of the unit with double sided tape. The case does not really provide any protection except for the screen. Since it is held in place with magnets it is always moving and does not stay in place. Even though it is a slim fit, I would pass on this one. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 You're kidding, right? Tuesday, March 04, 2008 Dave from Cedar Rapids, IA
This cover is basically a glorified checkbook cover. It provides no side coverage, nor does it even completely cover the front; it leaves about 2 mm uncovered on the perimeter. If you're expecting full protection, this product isn't what you want. Was this review helpful?
2 of 5 Big Magnets on flip cover Thursday, November 08, 2007 Mark L from Newton, MA
This is a flip cover with a magnet to hold it against the screen, nothing covering the sides, and a magnet to hold it on the back, where you need to tape a metal strip. The magnets will potentially damage credit cards and magnetic media, so keep it away from those things.
Nice feel, good screen protection, but not good protection from the elements.
