5 of 5 very nice backpack Wednesday, February 14, 2007 gofros from Bishkek
I live in an area of the world where an obvious laptop case could make you a potential target. This backpack is subtle enough to blend in with all the others out there on the street--dark, not to big, understated. Comfortable enough that you don't think about the weight, and padded enough that you don't worry about the laptop. We'll see how it does in hot weather.... Was this review helpful?

I bought this bag back in Jan of 2007 and I have been very pleased with it. The look of the bag is nice and it has a very comfortable feel. I would definitely reccommend it for the price. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Well padded... many pockets... but pockets not ver Thursday, February 08, 2007 -C from VANCOUVER, WA
This bag protects well and is comfortable to wear either on one shoulder or both. Straps extend to fit a full grown man.
Pockets-a-plenty, however the storage areas are snug. I had to put my RS-232 cables in the front pocket along with my CD's and papers instead of the side pockets. The side pockets will fit a couple ethernet cables but are smaller than they appear due to the padding. My Latitude D610 (12" or 13" I think) easily fits and although this bag can handle a larger laptop there is no sliding around. There is a velcro strap to help secure it that I wish was not stitched on one side so I could remove it completely. One of the zipper pull dongle things fell off after a couple weeks of use. Otherwise this is a great compact backpack and would be perfect for somebody that doesn't need to haul a bunch of bulky stuff around. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good Back Pack for your laptop Wednesday, February 07, 2007 Ivan from Chicago, IL
Switched from a traditional briefcase type. Overall very happy. Wish there was a little more padding to protect the top of the laptop. You slide it in with one side down. The side down is padded vey well. The side sticking up (about 20%) is somewhat exposed, only protected by nylon canvas on one side. Not really an issue most of the time. It is comfortable and has a reasonable amount of storage compartments. I recommend at this price. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 BEST BUY Tuesday, January 23, 2007 A Customer from San Diego, CA
I never write reviews for anything. Mainly because I never found anything worth raving about. This product however is something else. It looks good and it makes me look good walkin' around campus. It has plenty of pockets to store almost anything u can think of. Lots of cushion everywhere to protect your valuables.n If you're looking for a backpack or just something to protect your laptop, this is a really good investment. Was this review helpful?

This backpack does seem to be built with very good and strong build-quality. It's a perfect size for 15.4" laptops. My previous back, which was also great, was a Samsonite made for 14" laptops. My 15.4" barely fit in the Samsonite, so I wanted one that had a bit more room, without being oversized (made for 15-17"+). This back is a perfect fit. It has a very well secured pouch for the laptop. I do wish the padding went up a little higher on the pouch, though this might make it a bit difficult to get the laptop in/out.

The shoulder straps and "back" of the backpack are very well padded and look to be very well built for both comfort and quality.

While it has several medium-pockets and a very good storage layout, I do wish there were some smaller zippered pockets in the front panel/sections for small items like Flash Drives, ear-buds, etc. When you open the front panel, there's a place for pens, a business card/ID-Tag, and zippered pouch for a CD player (or cds w/ or w/o case). There's also a few big pouches that are just open, and good for storing something large/simple (a book/DVD), but not good for storing smaller items or anything with a cord - as it would slide everywhere.

Still, the backpack is so well built and otherwise organized very well and a great size for 15.4" laptops. For a price of $21-32, it's well worth it. Was this review helpful?

This pack is fantastic: super sturdy, intelligent storage scheme, padded ALL OVER (not just laptop area), *best* laptop padding I have seen, and very very handsome. The cell phone holder can also be snapped off and used alone which is very convenient. My notebook is on the smaller side and I think that if you can fit one in horizontally (as I do) you will be in great shape. Vertially it is also OK, but a very wide (tall in that orientation) laptop will have unpadded top corners exposed. Mine is smaller size, fits in snugly, and is the the best protected it has ever been. The price? About 1/3 of what it's worth. One of the best bargains on buy.com. Was this review helpful?
