The price for this "3 user" package of Microsoft Office was very reasonable. The main Office component missing is Outlook, but there are other email, calendar, and meeting programs out there for free. The top banner always informs you that your software is "non-commercial use" which can be a little annoying, but other than that, the product offers full functionality.

Glad I purchased this package. I like the new features with this version. I can now create documents with ease. Excel is an awesome program; it does so much and it's fun to use. Can't wait to get started on my next Power Point presentation. All this and more at such a reasonable cost!

Like it! Still trying to work in Excel; it's different from 2003, but I couldn't find this product for this price anywhere else.

Really nice upgrade from 2003 version... Ease of use is fabulous (once you spend a little time learning the new nuances of the 2007 version)... High quality package!!!

I'm a doubting Thomas, so I expected issues with this Product. It installed perfectly on an Acer Extensa 4420 Laptop. All programs function well and I actually love the 2007 interface - we have 2003 on our main computer. Would I buy again? Absolutely!

Word, Excel, and Powerpoint on Vista computers. I read in the license agreement that you could legally load these programs on up to three computers of people living in the same household - but I was still surprized when it actually worked on the second computer. Don't have a third computer to try it on. But I am happy with it.

It goes without saying that the MS Office products are an excellent, must have set of tools, and while I'm not against continual tweaks and improvements with new releases, I am extremely annoyed by the interface changes. Not sold by the latest interface "improvements" that frankly were meant to be more user friendly for the beginners and not the expert users. Even more annoying is that some of the hot key sequences have changed. Would have been nice to keep the same hot keys and have an option to keep the look and feel of the previous versions.

I purchased this product on Black Friday, when they were going for 2 for the price of 1! This was indeed a GREAT VALUE. It is true certainly that this version has only the basics (does not include Outlook), but it is all that most people need. Buy.com is a reputable and efficient operation. I can say for sure that I will be a repeat customer, and I highly recommend Buy.com to others.

I installed this program to upgrade from 2003. It caused me a lot of trouble with Outlook. I noticed a lot of people online had the same problem but none of the suggestions to fix it worked. I ended up having to remove 2007 so as to be able to use my 2003 Outlook and some of my other office apps without the 2007 headache. Bottom line. For me, the upgrade was a waste of money.

MS Home and Student Office 2007 is their best effort yet. 100% VISTA compatible. installation was simple and very straight forward. Excel and word are easier then ever and their integration with Powerpoint is as simple as point and click. you can't beat Buy.com for price and service.

It's an upgrade of an old favorite. It does a little bit of time to learn how to you the new things it can do. It doesn't take long to feel comfortable with using it.

as in ALL revamped software, it took a little while to get used to the new look and to navigate around, but once you do, it's pretty cool. they have some new features that make things more convenient. if you're used to the old school software, you may be very frustrated at first, but you'll get over it after awhile. maybe i just gave up and learned to accept it. :) i found that buy.com had the best price around. thank god since i'm a starving student. so far it's been a good investment.

After having this product, I discovered OpenOffice found at openoffice.org. The best part is that it's free and converts your documents to PDF, which Microsoft Office apparently does not (you have to buy the plug-in).

Good features and we love using it though need to take time to explore . But one glitz is I had my licenced office 2003 already installed and when I tried to install the new 2007, It was trying to find a source file of 2003 version for updating and I had to guess the error and find my 2003 CD and insert in the drive to complete my installtion.

Some painful areas: Equations in old documents - very painful. Editing - very painful. Awfully difficult to find your way through all the pretty pictures to do what needs to be done. It honestly looks to me like all those other reviews must have been written by Microsoft employees. The old software was so effective and easy to use, I was delighted to EXPECT that this would be even better. My high expectations were brutally dashed by the artists at Microsoft. I would guess that the head honchos at Microsoft ordered their software people to make changes FOR THE SAKE OF CHANGE. What a train wreck!! I might add that the reviews on BUY.com also suffered in credibility.

Excellent office suite for use in the home with full office capability. You get Excel 2007,PowerPoint 2007,Word 2007, and OneNote 2007 for for half of what you would pay for any SINGLE item. The new "Ribbon" is great.

I bought this for Onenote mostly but I'm glad I have the latest versions of the other software as well. This is a good deal for those who don't need "professional" versions. I don't think there's really any difference that I can see in the software. Onenote is pretty damn good. I haven't found any other software that comes close although if feels like it could be developed even further. For instance you can't free rotate anything. You can rotate at perfect 90 degree angles but that's all. If I didn't need onenote I'd just stick with sun's openoffice which is free! But I use onenote every day and it's pretty awesome. I'm surprised no one's made a comparable product to compete with it.

I love the new setup of MS Office 2007! It was a little hard to get used to at first but after going online and viewing some of the demos, I know where things are. Love it! Great buy!

Until I tried Office 2007, I was fairly certain that Word products were the spawn of something unholy. Word 2007, however, is the best ever. Its one drawback is that there is a real learning curve to use it (that's why a 3 for ease of use), and I might never use all of its functions because it is loaded with amazing features. That aside, once I got my balance, I found power and grace at my fingertips. So if you are looking for great software at a reasonable price, this is it.

The software is stable and feature-rich. HELP is generally useful, but occasionally frustratingly inadequate. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint users should be prepared, my colleagues say, for 30 top 60 days of learning when years of habits do not transfer easily to the new interface. The interface does have the potential for improving productivity of power users.

I bought the Microsoft Office 2007 software, and discovered it very difficult to migrate from Microsoft XP. Worse yet, Microsoft has added a new extension name for the file - Word has been changed from .doc to .docx, thus making it almost impossible for people without Office 2007 programs to open my new documents and spreadsheets. In retrospect, I would NOT recommend changing from Microsoft XP to Microsofot 2007!

After years of working with WordPerfect and Word, my office staff loves the new Word Office 2007. There is a learning curve, but once you get the basics down, you will find the new version very satisfying.
